The Bills is a classy little beret, IMO. It's pretty much the ubiquitous hatte for a man with a gun, like Boone from New Vegas, and it doesn't look unfitting on any class.
A'course, I don't have one 'cause I'd rather use my lunch money for food, not hats.

I recommend painting both the hat and the kickers radigan conagher brown. It will make them match on both teams, otherwise the blu team color hat doesn't look as good as on red team.

I can see that. The FDU compliments the "higher-class" military hats the Solider has, like the Honcho, the TC, or the new Hitman cop thing.
The Stash feels more like a lower-rank sort of thing. Like the difference between the person that sits at a desk and points at things and the person that actually shoots people in the military.
In my opinion there aren't any good Soldier miscs that compliment the lower-ranking look though. The Kringle can do that but it still looks better with the fancier hats. That's always frustrated me as well, I want to make my soldier look a bit more like a combatant instead of a decorated desk jockey but there are no miscs that support that look other than the stogie and that thing frankly looks like shit and is a waste of a misc slot.
Also, on a semi-related note, if you use the soup cans I hate you and accuse you of only wearing them because they're what you can afford and not because you actually think they look good.
