Rating agree for the latter statement. I don't like it either, and it actually deters me from using it more than the stats already do. It's got too much going on. With TF2, simpler usually looks better, and over-designing something typically yields gaudy results.

You could consider it an analogy. You see, the Quick-Fix was the Medic's first backpack, before he knew what he knew about Medigun technology, so it's all complicated and shit (and it kinda sucks, but w/e). Once the Medic knew the ropes, he didn't have to go through all these hoops and shit to get his desired result. It was so simple, just the like Stock Medigun Backpack.
I still like how the Quick-Fix backpack looks, though.
