BLU looks good, but RED is just "too" off for me. That's why I changed the colour of mine to Operator's Overalls.

Well, I just tried Team Spirit with itemtest. It appeared as the RED/BLU from the Scout's shirt. Then again, it's got to do with the Style methinks.

I know. Lime has a flashy pulse to it, which works really well for the Cold War Luchador. However, I found the paint to be too expensive. Just went with Indubitably Green instead.

Dark paints should work fine as it's almost on full paint brightness on the leather style
suede style is simply lighter paint (or white on the unpainted ones)

I think that these items are not paintable because whoever made the items paintable in GMod (since they're not by default) hasn't updated those hats yet.
