The Cap would be grey, but for some forsaken reason the paint only shows up when playing on BLU.

Yeah. If you still have it saved, could you try it in white (The Executioner)? It occurs to me that would be more fitting.

I had a similar Engi loadout for a while except unpainted, the hat really just doesn't look good, too white, the thin stripes don't read well, etc. I'd recommend finding a different hat.

I thought about that too but the thing is some hats/misc paints is bugged on gmod which inclubes executioner tho i would've posted that before
