Everything I wear, I like. I also happen to wear the Team Captain and, until yesterday, an FDU.
I don't wear items because they're expensive, I wear items because they [I]look good.[/I] The reason why the more expensive things are so expensive (not unusuals/promos, normal items) are so expensive is because they are almost universally liked. Higher demand raises the price.

Sorry we don't have our loadouts properly formed to your expectations, cupcake. Regardless of how people set theirs up, they can choose to do whatever they please. If they want to show off, let them. But personally I can agree how irritating it is for people just to wear items to show off how 'awesome' they are.
If people want to make TC + DS + PF Heavies or TC + FDU + LCMC Soldiers, who cares? It might be repetitive but it isn't my loadout. I've never been a fan of the Deus Ex items anyway. I care more about when people waste their name tags on old jokes or overused references.
Call me heartless, but why does the Teddy exist? I never saw the novelty value of getting one.

This is another "overused loadout" but I like it because it's much more subtle, fitting and better-looking than, say, painting a Magistrate's Mullet + Camera Beard + Rogue's Col Roule hot pink.

Being new-ish, I wear the hats I have. The only class that I have more than 1 hat for is heavy. If it's ugly, then sorry. I'd just like to show off the fact I'm not F2P.

While the scarf does look pretty nice, people just wear it on either every class they can, or with no thought into the rest of their loadout.

If people wore items that they liked and fit well with each other than would be great. Instead i see combos like Pink Max head, Earbuds and the scarf or some other expensive item. They only wear it because they are expensive, if these items were one of the cheap hats (Only a few refined) they wouldn't wear it.
