Open it while watching the replay then?
I also have bound cl_drawhud 1/0 bound to keys.
You can also put the replay to the slowest speed and then disable the HUD. Has the bonus that particles won't be misattached.

Whut, you can open console anytime. I made my loadout screen using cl_drawhud during pause in replay editor.

Doesn't work for me :downs:, when I press the button to open the console during the replay it works but during the paused replay it doesn't.

Well, I'd advise binding cl_drawhud 0 to a key (example KP_minus). Then you can pause the replay at any time and remove the HUD.

Any other advice you can give in the screenshot suspect? Like console commands to make it extra pretty, or HD texture packs.

Well, I put my graphic settings higher for a screenshot. Turned out my game can handle it.
I'd say watch out for the light on the map/area.

Maybe use the spectacles instead? While I understand that the specs are the only all class shades that aren't huge and colorful and goofy, they just look so bad.

If only spy had some nicer shades. I was thinking of replacing them with something like the Rouge's Col Roule, but it looks pretty awful imo.
The spectacles sort of work, but don't make the spy look very serious, just a sort of "modern sherlock"'s bitch kind of look.
