Why do people use the Family Business? The additional 2 clip is not worth the -15%* loss of damage. Just use the regular Shotgun. The additional 2 clip is only a "buff" when you've expended more than 6 clips in a single encounter. The -35% damage is a universal nerf no matter how the gun is used.
You have 2 guns. One has 6 clip and good damage and the other has 8 clip and less damage. Hypothetically speaking, if you kill every enemy in a typical encounter with 3 or 4 shots with the former and 4 or 5 shots with the latter, then you should see why the latter isn't worth using. In most scenarios, you won't expend more than the 6 clip that the former had because you only use the shotgun in emergency situations or when you need to stay mobile. The latter isn't necessarily a problem because when you're mobile you can reload behind cover before advancing, which is what you should be doing anyways.
There's nothing redeemable about the Family Business at all. I might think it would be an okay sidegrade if it had the 40% more accurate buff and -20%* less damage attributes, sort of like Baby Face's Blaster. (But without boost meter and an additional 2 clip.) With those stats it would be more useful as a mobile Heavy shotgun because you wouldn't need to reload as often and the accuracy would make it preferable over medium distances.

It's a question of accuracy.
Shotgun has more power but requires more accuracy, Family Business has slightly less power and allows much more room for mistakes.
It's great with the KGB though, the crits make up for the damage penalty so you can just pump out 8 crit shots over the oncoming hordes.

I'd paint the beret to match the suit rather than the other things as it doesn't blend together well enough with them to have the same color imo, and would sorta wrap it up more nicely

The Family Business is good when there's Snipers around. You have more shots to distort their aim.
Also, KGB + Family Business works better for me.
And I simply like the look of the Family Business.

Not true. There's also the TC, the armored authority, and I'm sure there are other fitting hats I can't think of. Honestly, the FDU isn't the most fitting misc for the soldier imo. Nice spy set, though, I don't really like the double cross-comm, but you managed to make it work.

Would've looked better with a srsbsns melee like the bonesaw to fit the TC, Nine Pipe and quick-fix backpack. Now I'm wishing the Pipe had styles for just the glasses and stuff.
