Melee scouts are like fresh meat for my strange Direct Hit.
Most useless melees in the game are Fire Axe and Bonesaw.
I actually use my V. Volcano Fragment with my Phlog loadout.
Bat always seemed like it was intended as a humiliation weapon, although it's still a viable way of smacking down a wounded player. What Bantha said about the Bonesaw and Fire Axe is entirely accurate both in a literal sense and a non literal sense. We've got the Third Degree and the Amputator/Solemn Vow, but we've also almost always had the Ubersaw and the Axstinguisher. Two weapons that have provided us generally better upsides or are more situationally viable than their predecessors.
That's not to say there aren't crap weapons and lots stuff that tips the scale towards being situational to the point of uselessness, but the Fire Axe and Bonesaw are the only truly "useless" weapons.

Don't worry about it, man. As long as it don't get sold for 1 refined and crafted into a Camera Beard it's legacy will go on as a great hat combo with the Big Steel Jaw of Summer Fun for 6 months.

Flamethrower is better for setting people on fire. Fragment is pretty much a joke outside of degroot.

Seriously, it requires no skill at all. You can just run in circles with it, and go to the fight and pull it out, run some more and get crits. It's not even fair at all. I swear, soda popper is awful.

Oh if only it were that simple. Sadly, a good defense pretty much revolves around strategically placed sentries. RED team without an engie would be steam rolled quite easily more often than not. And if nobody is willing to go engie, then you know who has to switch class.

I do love when people destroy my sentry. Especially when it ranked a bunch of kills and assists and I've the Frontier Justice equipped.
