I'm tired of people saying I'm bad at Pyro or airblasting just because I use the backburner, while the people who say that use the degreaser and crutchstinguisher. The Pyro was made to burn things, not to toss them into the air and kill them quickly with an axe. If that was the case, the flamethrower would have barely any ammo and couldn't be fired continuously.
Scammers man, A guy added me a while back, played some games with em for a few months, asked if he could try on my hero tail, promising to give it back. :[ shoulda seen it comming. Hope steam support will help. I will forever miss you Brown Hero tail!

Is he supposed to act as a slow drain on health and resources, or is he supposed to get in there and ruin people before initial ignitions even have a chance to peter out? Is he supposed to be at the front lines, slightly behind the front lines ready to extinguish allies/rush up to deal with projectiles, off on his own living from healthpack to healthpack in hostile territory, or way in back with the defensive Engies? Is he supposed to be called upon for joining good pushes, or for stopping them? Hell, even fire isn't really a sure thing with Pyros anymore. God knows I've come across a couple who mostly use their primary as prepwork for Reserve Shooter skeet shooting.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but, come on.
I hate it when trolls offer a lot for something, then relish in how bad they trolled you, despite the fact that there's not much you can do in a situation like that other than play along since you can't risk losing a potential (good) trade over thinking it may be a troll.
You know what's worse than trolls? When people click the "x" on the trade window when they get a bad offer. There was no error Mr. Steam Trade Window, only a douche who can't say no thanks and click that "cancel" button.
I hate it when people always say that pyros are overpowered. They are not overpowered, you are just unlucky/stupid if you can't keep away from a degreaser+axtinguisher pyro.
I hate it when people always say that pyros are overpowered. They are not overpowered, you are just unlucky/stupid if you can't keep away from a degreaser+axtinguisher pyro.
well, pyros aren't overpowered, but that combo you mentioned makes the puff and sting easier because the delay between pulling out a weapon and getting to swing it pretty much vanishes and you get a guaranteed, almost instant crit.
I hate it when people always say that pyros are overpowered. They are not overpowered, you are just unlucky/stupid if you can't keep away from a degreaser+axtinguisher pyro.
it is a combo which requires all the skill of pressing M1+Q+M1 in order
I hate it when people always say that pyros are overpowered. They are not overpowered, you are just unlucky/stupid if you can't keep away from a degreaser+axtinguisher pyro.
i feel like im the only pyro who uses stock + flare + axtinguisher...
I hate it when people always say that pyros are overpowered. They are not overpowered, you are just unlucky/stupid if you can't keep away from a degreaser+axtinguisher pyro.
Equip backburner + shotgun and you're guaranteed to heavily piss off any degreaser pyro on the opposite team. It's absolutely marvelous to see self-proclaimed "skilled pyro players" with the degreaser be easily countered by the "noob w+m1" backburner :v:
i feel like im the only pyro who uses stock + flare + axtinguisher...
I roll normally: Stock + Detonator/Flare(depends on map) + Homewrecker/Backscratcher(Depends on map/mode) OR Degreaser+Shotgun+Powerjack(And attendant, for the bonus) OR Backburner+manmelter(to preserve ammo if ally is on fire)+powerjack/backscratcher

Phlogistinator master race. We need a strange one.
My loadouts are: A: Stock + shotgun + powerjack B: Stock + shotgun + maul C: Backburner + detonator + back scratcher D: Degreaser + flare gun + postal pummelor The first two are my usual loadouts, the third is my roaming ambush pyro loadout and the last is the usual puff and sting. I prefer the pummelor to the axtinguishor because, let's face it, beating people with a mailbox is pretty darn amusing.
A guy tried to convince me to use Warrior's spirit, Tomislav and sandvich instead of Minigun, Shotgun and G.R.U. Needless to say, he failed and called me a "cock sucker noob".
Pyro loadouts is it? A: Degreaser, Shotgun, Axtinguisher. -Offense B: Degreaser, Shotgun, Homewrecker. -Defense C: Stock, Shotgun, Axe. -Preference loadout that I primarily use when I feel I can. D: Backburner, Manmelter, Back Scratcher. -WTF loadout

Well, it's turning into what's your Pyro's loadout thread....Oh well i'll join as well: A: Degreaser + Shotgun + Powerjack = for the set B: Backburner + Detonator/Manmelter + Third Degree = Ambush (Oh the hilarity when you 1st ignite both medic and patient and then hit em with Third Degree. Sure Medic might survive if he heals a Spy, Sniper with Danger Shield, Milkman Scout or Battle Engie but the afterburn will kill him) C: Flamethrower + Flare Gun/Detonator + Axetinguisher/maul D: Phloginstator + Manmelter/Detonator + Sharpened Volcano Axe = Sure the volcano axe may be useless but hey...Atleast it saves some ammo when i use it.
One time, I got out my phlog and announced I was going to M1 as soon as I left spawn on Badwater. I raped a full payload group and taunted at the end screaming "M1 FOREVER". M1+W scares people and saves lives.
When Heavies complain about W+M1 Pyros, it's such a hypocrisy.
I killed a puff n' sting pyro today. He DID get medic first, so I proceeded to mow him down and shred his tiny baby body to pieces.
Pyro loadouts? A: Degreaser + Shotgun + Objector B: Degreaser + Shotgun + Objector C: Degreaser + Shotgun + Objector D: Degreaser + Shotgun + Objector
A: Degreaser + Shotgun +Powerjack B,C,D: I HAFF NO IDEA
A. Degreaser, Shotgun, Fire Axe B. Backburner/Flamethrower, Shotgun, Axtinguisher C. Degreaser, Shotgun, Homewrecker/Back Scratcher D. Degreaser, Flare Gun, Powerjack
A. Flamethrower, Flaregun/Detonator, Axstinguisher (Main) B. Degreaser, Flaregun, Axsting. (Rarely played) C. Degreaser, Shotgun, Powerjack, Attendant, Sometimes the Jingle Belt with the added name of "Jingling Abomination" (Second most played) D. Degreaser, ManMelter, Frying Pan. (Most recently played)
degreaser, flaregun, axetinguisher it's a crutch and I don't give a single shit
See that? That's a sapper. Since I main the Spy, it's been my dream getting a strange, but with it's current price, I will never get close enough to get it :c
PYRO LOADOUTS Standard- Stock, Shotgun, Third Degree *Good all-around Pyro class. Generally works for whatever occasion you need. Ambush- Backburner, Detonator, Powerjack *I really need to use this one more often. Detonator jumping can get you to some nice ambush spots (aside from being an all-around good defensive/support weapon. Sneak up behind a big group and crit the fuck outta them, maybe toss in a Powerjack swing if you need the health. Pybro- Stock, Detonator, Homewrecker *I prefer Stock to the Degreaser in this case, since the extra afterburn damage means you can ignite a Spy and let them burn if you need to tend to some Sappers. Detonator, as stated before, is great for defense (I'm hoping for a buff, it's a wonderful thing to detonate a flare at exactly the right moment, igniting everyone pushing the cart). Space Pyro from Planet I DON'T GIVE A FUCK- Phlogistinator, Manmelter, Sharpened Volcano Fragment *EVERYTHING. DOES. FIRE DAMAGE. Extinguish people with the Manmelter, land a crit, and you're basically half-way to fucking everyone's shit sideways. Works brilliantly on CTF.
I got 3 refined, whoo. Better not craft them or I'll get another ugly hat. :(
