Stuff that annoys you in TF2: Constructor doesn't make this thread Edition
Well, there was one ideas guy on the interwebs, who pretty much predicted 30% of the weapons we have today in TF2, from gunslinger to flaregun. One of those was also a knife that would "specifically crit only when hitting a spy"
It is Bushwacka. Sniper can, of course, jarate and crit anyone, but it's mostly an anti-spy measure since other classes usually don't melee snipers, and jarate affects spy the most.
It is almost useless if you don't have Jarate equipped though, and contrary to popular belief, Jarate is not a complete upgrade to the SMG. The SMG is significantly better at defending yourself against Scouts, and is generally very useful for enemies in medium to close range.
I mean seriously what's the point of a stange market gardener that does not count your kills while roquet jumping ?
Wait what...They don't...count kills when you crit someone while you are in mid air?...VAAAALVE!
Wait what...They don't...count kills when you crit someone while you are in mid air?...VAAAALVE!
It does, but not uniquely.
It does, but not uniquely.
I see no problem there.
I mean, sniper rifle doesn't uniquely count headshots, does it?
We do have crit part after all.
Sneaky spats are currently worth more than a B.M.O.C
This is what annoys me.
How long do I need to wait until they're worth as much as the prairie heel biters? (because they're pretty much the same unnoticeable things that nobody likes and that I want)
It's retarded how expensive new items are, I'll never afford All-father without selling all my shit.
It's retarded how expensive new items are, I'll never afford All-father without selling all my shit.
Just wait for a while....
Year or two.
I find it silly now that hats/miscs start at 5678909876789 keys, and only go down to 876567890 in a week or so.
A lot of the submissions aren't too trendy, yet people insist on selling me their Boom Bringers and Fast Learners for 9876789 bills.
How we have hats worth 1.33 ref puzzles me now.
The All-Father is not a recent item anymore. It's amazing it's still worth so much.
Why doesn't my stats update on Steam?
I got 10 freaking sentry kills this round
I'll never get All-Father :(

[sp]Am I doing this rite?[/sp]
I'll never get the mask you get from pre-ordering Ghost Recon :C
I'll never get a Nametag :[
Of course it's worth so much, it has the best name in the game.
Hat of Undeniable Wealth and Respect
And it's even more expensive. And what about Top Notch? That's at least 50 burning Team Captains. All according to formula.

I'm pretty sure Chalky was the one who came up with the name for it, hence why he said that.
Correct me if I'm wrong though.
I'll never get laid.
Wait, why am I telling you this?

" it has the best name in the game."

I really wish sv_pure was able to disable sound mods without making the game extremely unstable
It is pretty disconcerting when your custom crit sound turns into a mixture of distorted Scout screams and rocket launcher noises.

For me it turns half of my sounds into Static.
"Ooh, this is a nice serv-*EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*"

How the hell am I supposed to know which one is more recent? :suicide:

I'd generally just stick with Steam Cloud
But eh, do what you want I guess

TF2 crashed when I closed it last I played, I think that means that it wouldn't have synced and so my local files would be the most recent?
[editline]That works too[/editline]
Launching TF2 on my laptop and then on my desktop seems to have fixed it.
I once played a heavy with the steak and the fists of steel. Ate my steak and went out with the steel gloves wrapped around my hands and a medic to help.
I get downed instantly by single sniper and his bushwacka.
Oh, that reminds me of one of my peeves. When I first saw the Fists of Steel, I though they looked like an awesome choice of melee, purely because they just looked cool and I loved the pun with Heavy'd dialouge.
So Valve adds them into the game, and you know what they do? Give them stats that make it a poor choice in a melee fight.
Gawddaymit, I want to use my Fists to pound people's jaws in, not shield myself from Snipers.

Not to mention the big disconnect between functionality and design. I know this is kind of an inevitability when taking in community weapons but what about giant metal Hulk boxing gloves screams "100% extra damage from melee sources"?
Again, I know it's hard to avoid but it feels like they just picked stats randomly from a list. It's like the Blackbox, or the Eviction Notice.
