I like this one acually.
Now all we need is a description....
I got a mod that makes the Rainbower play "Do you Believe in Magic?" when fired, but most of the time it goes down like this: "Do you believe in magic, in a young girl--PLPHLHPOHLPHLOHLPHLHO" BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T BOTHER TO ADD A CRITSOUND FOR THE RAINBLOWER, SO IT USES THE FLAMETHROWER ONE
If it's actual fixes they should definitely be acceptable, but there's also plenty of things that are just ideas on how to fix things without any actual content. I really think the Workshop should have some sort of things that prevents people from submitting unless they attach actual content that can be used in the game (if such a thing does not already exist).
All fixes to the game menus and improvements of the sort can't actually be made because tf2 isn't open source. Means they can't hack as easily but it also means they can't make modifications to it. It's sad that so many ideas die just because of that.
TF2 in fucking general. Every fucking little thing gets me FUCKING MAD AS FUCK. GOD DAMMIT. IT PISSES ME OFF THAT TF2 PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH. IT'S SO FUCKING ADDICTING, TOO, SO IT'S LIKE A FUCKING VICIOUS CYCLE. 1. PLAY GAME WITH HIGH HOPES THAT YOU WON'T GET MAD THIS TIME. 2. GET KILLED/DOMINATED BY SOME FAGGOT. 3. GET MAD AS FUCK AND TRASH MY ROOM AGAIN.
1. PLAY GAME EXPECTING TO HAVE FUN THIS TIME 2. ENEMY HAS STICKIES + KRITZKRIEG 3.
The fact that I don't have all the items in the game.
So far, that only good community I know of is 3FL/Games.On.Net. Majority of Aussie servers are run by retarded Admins or clan-stacking pub stompers like LaB, GamersUN these days are okay but community wise is just blergh. and they have sv_pure 1 enabled on all their servers. :suicide: Oh and lately what I hate is walking around a corner to meet a Lock'n'Load. usually they 1 hit me and seems everyone's using it atm.
Games.on.net is the only really good server chain since their servers are either full rotation, popular maps, payload maps or this one VSH one which I see but never visit. I see a few recurring players on them, too, which is cool.
This thing, this fucking thing right here. All this is, is a Charge n Targe with basically zero actual downsides and all skill taken out of it. Due to the multiplied charge damage and free crit no matter what the range, its basically an insta-kill machine as long as you can get the enemy in sight. Why can't they give it some actual downside that makes the shield take effort to use? Like, "builds charge by dealing melee damage", or something.

This week, I've not been able to play on a server for more than 15 min without someone suddenly thinking "this game is not serious enought: better go stickie-demo and call one of my friend to heal me". I've yet to figure what is the counter to a stickie spamming demo with his own pocket medic, except going spamming demo myself which is cheap and boring.

There is a downside and that's less defence against fire and explosive damage. You must be terrible at dealing with Demoknights son, just kill them from a distance or juggle them.
How TF2 has now decided that it's going to crash upon map load. TF2 beta does the same thing, as does the 2007 SFM leak, yet EVERY other source game is fine and I have no clue why.
Not EXACTLY TF2 related, but I get annoyed how Steam friends coincidentally always message you right when you're at the main menu loading screen or connecting to a server Bonus points if they have the nerve to get mad at you for not responding instantly

But as it doesn't deal damage on a short charge, people don't bash into player and thus don't get the crit. But yeha, I think the Splendid Screen should grant Minicrits instead of crits. As a tradeoff for the charge damage.

Yeah, there are a fair amount of competitive/pubstar level people i'll admit, but we're not dicks and aren't there to prove anything; simply to have fun and chill out (except for rumpig but ah well just try to ignore him). Also sv_pure 0, which I know is important.

This way, an unskilled Demoknight using the Screen will simply knock into someone, the target goes flying, and the Demoknight is left hacking at air. BUT, a truly skilled Demoknight will be able to attack at JUST the right moment before impact to behead their enemy (or atleast damage them and finish them off with the shield bash). Not to mention, it could lead to some HILARIOUS "head-on collision -> off a cliff" replays.

However, while I didn't find any it did remind me why I avoid the TF2 economy like the fucking plague.
I dislike how having the Medic use his Medigun on someone automatically triggers a "Help me defend!" line should you walk over control points, as if he was using a weapon. It makes you look like a fool when you're running along with your team for the mid point in the start of a cp map.
Counters include but are not limited to: -A Scout -A Spy -A sentry -Any attack class with a medic -A Pyro -A Sniper -A Heavy
I'm not talking about a single smart demo, but a demo with his own pocket medic that both decided it was time to wreck everything by spamming stickies. -The scout needs to be really good at aiming while dodging flying stickies: that require a lot of practice while the demo just needs to be aware of what is happening. -Same thing for a spy: if the demo is not careless, 2 stickie and it's over. -A sentry ? It's like saying the spy is the counter to pyros. -Demo with medic will usually destroy any other class+medic combo unless there is a big skill difference. -The pyro: reflecting stickie is a pain and usually result in your death, because he can just detonate them in your face . -The sniper one is situational: unless it's a big open area and he is out of reach, 2 stickie and it's over. -The heavy: unless he suprises the combo by jumping from a corner, he is pretty much a stationary target that will be gone with 4-5 stickie. This is just an observation of what happened to me this whole week: having fun on a server, when suddenly a decent player goes demo with a friend medic: what was balanced teams fighting each other suddenly become a steamroll.

There's no reply for the demoman to a soldier jumping towards him or a scout meatshotting him while standing in a point blank range. Pipe bombs will to a lot of self-damage, stickies are slow and easy to dodge, and if he switches to melee you can just backpedal a bit.
