sv_pure is worst thing. I never seen people using mods for WallHack, so sv_pure is just dick move for people who love customize their game.

thing is, almost all valve servers have sv_pure 1, which is just a slap to the dick because it says "you can have your models, but NO CUSTOM TEXTURES MUAHAHAHAHAHH."

How are you meant to see people using wallhacks? It's as simple as replacing map textures clientside.

Actually I think the wallhacks are with the models and not the walls now.
No random crits so its balanced, stop whining.
Actually, it always crits.
When every owner of an item you want is a complete shark. The spreadsheet prices are inflated enough, I'm not paying 6 ref for your fucking apoco-fists.
People that see an Engineer building a sentry, and instead of shooting it or the Engineer, run away.
It's like they don't realize that while it's building it can't shoot.
Alternatively when you try to destroy it and get within an inch of doing so but then getting killed. The Engineer then proceeds to upgrade it to level 3 before you can get back to it and it stops your entire team for the rest of forever.
Actually, it always crits.
But never randomly.
Puff N Sting isn't really a crutch, it takes two weapons and more than M1.
Overpowered, but not a crutch.
I do see why people think it is cheap, but I have absolutely no idea why people think it's a crutch.

Mobility
I don't really mind puff and sting, because I don't usually get into positions where the pyro is close enough to kill me, be it w+m1 or axtinguisher. The detonator is more annoying in my opinion, it's only good if you can't aim well enough with the flaregun.
I'm the opposite, I can aim and kill with the flare gun easily, but somehow I just downright suck with any other secondary. (minus the stock shotgun)
I wish Manmelter didn't suck. There is absolutely no reason to use it over any other Pyro secondary, maybe if you use Phlog so you can still extinguish your team mates, but this is it. It reloads more slowly than any other flaregun as well for some reason. It having unlimited ammo only helps in zombie fortress and balloon race game modes as far as I know cause on normal maps I don't remember ever running out of flares anyway.
Sprays like this piss me off.

he didn't even make it transparent, the lazy bastard
wwhhhhyyyyy
That just reminds me how much of a pet peeve it is for me to see sprays that are not transparent.
The thought of people just picking a .jpg at their spray makes me cringe :v:

I don't think it's a crutch, it's just a cheap as fuck bullshit tactic that takes half a brain cell to use and is extremely hard to avoid.
And don't anybody DARE give me the "oh well its ur fault u got close to him" bullshit. There's no way I can tell if there's going to be a pyro right around the corner. Even if I see one coming for me ahead of time I'm still fucked if I'm in a tight space and have to reload. The only way to not get killed by this shit if he lights you and puffs you is if A: you're a scout and you aren't in a small enclosed space or if B: the pyro fucks up.
Axtinguisher needs a nerf, make it have a slow ass draw speed or make it have airblast cost more or something.

I think of this like driving a car. When you're driving, you check around to make everything is safe before you proceed. When you're playing the game, you check corners and spots where an enemy might be hiding or where there might be a sticky trap. It takes less than a second and it saves you from so many deaths.
If you are a soldier or a demoman, you might want to consider pre-firing at doorways to blow away stickies or see if there's an enemy behind a corner (enable hitsounds or listen for cries of pain).

If only it was this simple. Sadly it appears that everybody else has instantaneous reaction time.

It doesn't matter how cautious you are, it's still going to happen.
It doesn't matter how cautious you are, it's still going to happen.
No, not really. Maybe some time every now and then, but the vast majority of the puff and stings you receive can be avoided by simply being aware of the surroundings.
Random trades for my Essential Accessories. Seeing how often I get them, I'd hate to know what it's like with a higher item like a Max Head or Bills Hat.

There wasn't anywhere near the amount of complaints about the Axtinguisher before the Degreaser came along
Just something to keep in mind
They could add something like "-20% resistance to fire on wearer" to the Axstinguisher.
The biggest downside to the Axstinguisher is after all that it's useless under water or against enemy Pyros. So make the wielder even more vulnerable to enemy Pyros, and you have yourself a proper downside.
Every time I play I get someone asking me if they can have my GM's Service Medal.
I barely play anymore, I just keep it to spite people.

First bazooka that makes reflecting bitches suffer.
Now flammable puff'n'sting bitches.
I like this trend.
The best way to nerf the axtuingisher would be to add "50% chance to extinguish"
If you wanted to be harsh, it could be 100% chance.
Really the axtuingisher isn't worth it except on soldiers and heavies.
