pretty sure the top rocketlauncher part of a level3 sentry has no hitbox, and things go through it.
Then how come they "shatter" still? And even if that's the case, it doesn't matter, they'll sometimes shatter on the base and stuff anyways.
Axtinguisher + Minicrits against burning players - User takes 20% more damage from sources while active Have I fixed it yet?
So you made a shitty Bushwacka.
It doesnt insta-kill anyone though, and riskier to use. I dunno what could balance that thing
People complain about pyros wayyyy too fucking much Cant use axtinguisher combo Cant use w+m1 And shotgun sometimes isnt effiecient enough to kill quick enough And people complain about airblasting and flare Seriously, shut up, theres a lot more things to complain about, the axtinguisher was made so it can easily take out enemies. If you want to stop it, go a different class that can stop it. Theres not a single thing people havnt complained about the pyro.

Since when did people go from complaining about backburner pyros to puff and sting pyros? It's really absurd to me. Personally I find the pyro kind of underpowered if all he's allowed to do is light people on fire and shotgun them to death. I believe that with the axtinguisher, getting into melee range is a risk, and you guys just aren't responding properly to it.regardless if you're a scout to a spy, you have ways of tearing him apart/getting the hell away in that range.
Pyro is a close range class. God forbid he's actually good at his role.
why does this make so much sense Scouts with the Fan of War that relentlessly try to whack people with it instead of just FUCKING SHOOTING THEM WITH THE 2-HIT KILL SCATTERGUN THAT YOU HAVE FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF- But otherwise, not a lot of stuff in the game annoys me.

Let's complain about 'em.
I get more annoyed by Puff n Sting than I do with W+M1. W+M1 is atleast easy to handle. Unless they've got crits, they get the drop on you, or you're already pretty injured, it's not too hard to out-gun them or atleast flee before you die. Puff n Sting has no defense. If you get puffed up a wall, unless you get a truly lucky shot or are saved by a teammate, you're as good as dead. All they need to do is either make the Axetinguisher deal out Mini-Crits (but still get random crits) or dramatically increase the airblast cost when it's equipped. I've seen REAL Pyros, ones who top the board, earn their MVP, and are kredit to team. None of those Pyros were using Puff n Sting. The closest thing was the Gas Jockey set, and even then they're more vulnerable to bullets.
All these sales on Steam and no credit card... and the only ''way'' i can pay for them to some people are with keys.. Sadly, my reputation is just so tiny, people think i might Scam them :l
I really fucking hate it when an enemy completely ignores my team (whether it means charging through them, or just ignoring them) and aims specifically for me.
I really fucking hate it when an enemy completely ignores my team (whether it means charging through them, or just ignoring them) and aims specifically for me.
Worse when some demo/soldier shoots at your ally, and the projectile hits YOU
I really fucking hate it when an enemy completely ignores my team (whether it means charging through them, or just ignoring them) and aims specifically for me.
I remembered a scout just tearing out through the back of my team mates. None of them turned around or even acknowledged him while he was killing us off 1 by 1 until I shot him in the back with my crossbow while he was going for a health pack.
I love it when you get that almost psychic feeling, like Obi Wan when Alderaan was destroyed. Like, there's a Scout hopping around, spazzing this way and that, and pop, 1-shot with the Loch n Load. It feels as if a lone voice cried out, and was suddenly silenced, as they had no mic. But it sucks when you're on the other end of a lucky shot. Like, BOOP!, crit-nade, now you, your team, and all of your buildings are gone.

Aren't multiplayer games supposed to be challenging? If you get airblasted up a wall you were most likely ambushed, because if you see a Pyro attacking you head first it's your fault if he gets close enough to use the Axteinguisher. The Pyro is designed to be a close quarters combat and ambush class. Using the Axetinguisher and the airblast is part of the way Pyro is meant to be played. I honestly don't see how increasing the airblast cost will "fix" the Axetinguisher. I love the use of anecdotal evidence at the end of your post, it really strengthens your argument.
Stock flamer is the best flamer. The Degreaser is for pussies.
I hate people who play spy well, since i mostly play engy. How can anyone switch from a fucking sapper to a knife so quick? I also hate spies who run back and forth between buildings after i knock the sapper of them. It ALWAYS ends in my buildings dying, because i can't get the spy.
playing special delivery guy on my team: "PING LAG" and then proceeds to let everyone know about how bad hes lagging

That's like saying "it's your fault if a Sniper headshots you". It's a class doing what they were BUILT to do. But there's a difference between "challenging" and "OP". A good sidegrade provides a challenge. Puff n Sting is, if they get you against a wall, most likely going to kill you. It takes no skill to master and can one-shot most classes. And yes, I have yet to see a truly skilled Pyro using Puff N Sting. The best Pyros I've encountered have been assisting their teammates, causing diversions, hunting Spies, knocking Sappers off of buildings, extinguishing teammates; not pushing enemies against walls for an easy kill. The worst part is, everyone KNOWS it's an easy kill. I rarely see Pyros using the Homewrecker and helping Engies, or the Backscratcher and preforming a counter-push from behind. It's all Puff N Sting. Now normally, you wouldn't see this. Not every Sniper uses the Razorback, because there's the Ambassador. Not every Demo uses the Shield+Eyelander because they're left without a strong defensive weapon. The reason Puff N Sting is seen so often is because it has no direct counter. In truth, there's NOTHING wrong with it. The ONLY downsides are decreased afterburn damage and no random melee crits, both of which are negligible. And the reason I said that W+M1 is easy to handle is because it IS. It is a tactic used by those who don't really know how to use Pyro yet (tossing in airblasts to deflect projectiles, switching to the secondary to finish off fleeing foes, etc.). But people tend to get angry about it. My argument is that, while W+M1 is annoying, it's nothing compared to Puff N Sting. [sp]But I get why you're acting so hostile, I'd be angry too if someone laughed at my crutches.[/sp]
today there was a whole team of demomen with sticky bomb launchers just spamming them all over the start of the payload map. needless to say how much i fucking despise it when the sticky bomb launcher is used as anything but a trap weapon. I thought that was it's whole purpose? I mean even in meet the demoman it shows him using it as a trapper.

Like, "I just landed a reflected Huntsman headshot with 5hp left" wonderful. To be honest, I'm impressed. It's wholly inefficient, but they've perfected it to the point where it's actually somewhat effective. It's like someone scooting on their ass instead of driving a car, but they still get to the store and back in the same amount of time.
I've seen pyros that airblast other pyros away so they can hit them with the Flare Gun. I'm not kidding, it's as stupid as using Fist of Steel in Medieval(Sure you take less damage from those Huntsmen, but good luck fighting anyone else that is hounding you while you are closing in on those Snipers.).
This happens to me a lot when I'm playing Pyro. I pull out my shotgun and pop em a couple times then they just run away. What are they trying to accomplish by hitting me with a flare?
and that's why i love using the Scottish resistance.
especially if they somehow survive and rocket into the skybox, then die from fall damage :v: [editline]16th July 2012[/editline] I hate it when I see an obvious new player with a shit loadout. Like, they'll have the Diamondback, Big Earner, and CnD. You can tell it's probably the first Spy weapons they dropped. So they go around, crouch-walking so they don't run out of Cloak. Then they die from a passive rocket. And you tell them, "hey buuuuddy, that's not the best loadout, try this..." AND THEY IGNORE YOU. AND CONTINUE TO TRY IN VAIN TO KEEP THEIR CND CHARGED PERPETUALLY. And it's not just Spies, I've seen Snipers using the Machina, Razorback, and Bushwacka. I mean, c'mon, that's just silly. Change that loadout you silly fucker you. Right now.

To avoid degenerating into unnecessary shitstorms over the pyro, I thought up a valid complaint: When your team gets steamrolled by two or three mediocre heavies and the medics lodged firmly in their sphincters because no one on your team can get their shit together and tries to lone wolf it only to get shot to ribbons.
