The only time Pony stuff in TF2 annoys me is if its just... blatant. (Which it is 99.9% of the time) Infact, I can say that about ANY reference. Put some fucking thought into it, make it so that only actual fans will get it and not people who only vaguely know about the subject matter. A reference should just be a subtle nod, and honestly the "Giggle at the Ghosties" thing posted earlier: I wouldn't have guessed it was MLP related at all! THAT, doesn't bother me. It's somewhat well thought out and it is really subtle and not in your face, so fans get the reference and others just see it as a name. The people going around named "Rainbow Dash" posting pictues of Rainbow Dash or fucking whatever are the ones that bother me. I shouldn't know the names of half the cast without watching a full episode FFS. TL;DR: References to anything (Including MLP) are fine as long as they aren't blatant and in your face.

GO TO YET ANOTHER FUCKING SERVER. GET DOMINATED BY A PYRO W+M1ING WITH THE GODDAMN DEGREASER. DON'T ASK ME HOW THEY DID IT, THEY JUST FUCKING DID. Not to mention, this Pyro hung with an exclusive enterage of Snipers throwing their piss EVERYWHERE. Also, half their team was Scouts and my team was doing fuck all (I joined and got to #3 on my side as a Gunslinger Engie within around 10 mins). FUCK I hate searching for pubs, I really really do. I hate how, while I DO want to try out a lobby, I don't want to piss everyone off because I'm not entirely sure if I'm good enough for one. I usually am in the top 5 on the server, does that qualify?

Depends what kind of server. If you only play on valve servers well.......

With TF2Lobby it's 20% people taking ten minutes to download the map, 30% people fucking around and being idiots, 40% aborted lobbies and 10% competent players.

There's nothing more annoying than people who do their roll-out incorrectly/isn't doing the roll-out at all, and consequently losing mid every round.

Medics that seem to think "wasting" a second of uber instead of waiting until their patient has exactly 2 HP is a capital crime. Same goes when I play medic and Mr. Smugfaced Demoman complains about "shit uber" because I opt to make sure we get in there alive as opposed to give him enough time to get one more kill or something. Bonus points if they try to do so with kritz instead of popping it before rounding the corner where the whole enemy team is.

When I open the charater selection thing instead of my inventory (They are all so close, N, M , , , . ) And then I want to esc away from it but noooo, I am going to open the fucking main menu instead of closing the selection screen.

A tip for more unexperienced medics out there: don't wait until your pocket is about to die before ubering. It's better to just pop the uber directly as you start pushing through a choke point. Optimally the pocket should take ~50 hp before you popping the uber, but only do that if you can guarentee that there is no sticky traps around.

Even if you don't kill many players with a poorly timed uber, it still can create a distraction, and fast classes, like Scouts, Pyros and Medics, will retreat.

So what is a "Layout" exactly? AFAIK it is a specific team setup with certain classes. (Seems dumb to me, why not just have a dynamically changing team to best suit your needs?)

If we've got spies I go pybro and camp sentries. If we're not able to push I go medic. I wish more people would do this.

Medic trains of death. Basically quickfix-medic on an infiuber/infiammo and overdose. Healing another medic with the same loadout. Bonus points for stranges and ubersaws.
