Stuff that annoys you in TF2: Constructor doesn't make this thread Edition - Games

I'm a huge animation fan and it's nicely animated and the character's are as likeable as they were in the 90's kids shows that I used to watch so it just sort of makes up for my old time nostalgia that I can indeed still get from watching old cartoons, but this is a living, still airing and it's like watching a new show as a kid again. That's why I literally [I]love[/I] the show with all of my guts. [/sub] When people mention "My Little Pony" they instinctively think of the old shows which indeed was and still is terrible, but the new show is just so different and it's actually pretty funny. [sp]I think if people gave it an honest chance they might end up liking it.[/sp] I hope that clears something up for you, Citizen Insane. Now I'd love to see the thread completely back on topic, I'd contribute more, but my above post was all that I had on mind today.

I play as Demoman mostly and have noticed a problem ever since two updates ago. I tend to use LnL with Shield/Melee loadout, and charge bash is a huge part of my tactics. Around 20% of the time I charge straight through my target, which is gamebreaking when fighting against most classes. Its super frustrating when charching a scout to only clip straight through the hitbox, and get shot in the back of the head. The same with soldiers who then fire a couple rockets into the ground and I'm a gonner. I mostly have a great connection and little to no lag, so you can rule that out. Another thing I hate is when charging into someone who is in mid-jump it knocks them across the friggin map. This is great/funny for world kills but is an annoyance other times, as I need to follow up the charge with a melee swing. Rant over- Meh I guess its not a huge deal since I have 8,000+ kills racked up with the LnL on my server anyways Keith Turbo [MiT]

I love to watch shows like Dexter's lab and Johnny Bravo whenever I can. But honestly, I actually tried watching the show, because I figured it can't be that bad if so many people on the internet like it. I couldn't really stand it, I didn't even last a full episode.

It's dull and formulaic, Like most modern kids shows. The animation isn't bad and i can see the appeal but i can't get into it myself. I don't mind stuff like "LOL PINKIE PIE ROKKIT LAWNCHAIR", I don't give two shits what people want to spend their money on. Many of my friends have changed their name from what I know them as to Rainbow Dash, Twilight Sparkle, etc., but I would never be able to do that. It forces me not to get many more friends than the 25 friends I have because I simply cant keep track of 50 Pinkie Pies or Applejacks... I love meeting new people and making friends, but it gets really hard to keep track of people when they are all either called the same or changes their name all the time... So I guess it also annoys me to see people use unoriginal names instead of being each individual of their own.

I don't even go in random pubs anymore, I only play on some regular servers like FPUK. It's almost impossible to attack or defend with a decent team these days, everyone choose a class they want to play. No, you have to choose a class that it's helpful to your team.

Got it working now, apparently a Steam update I downloaded failed so I just had to reinstall it.

When you're playing lone engineer defending one of the second points on dustbowl, everyone derps off the point to fight in the middle of the map, and either a single demo-medic slips past rushes the point, or a demo spams stickies/nades in a way where he is not in the line of sight and then a single engineer (me) with no sentry is left defending the point all by himself. Happens alot, people don't seem to realise that whilst a sentry is powerful, it has specific counter-classes and engineers can not always deal with them by themselves.

I'm ready for the dumbs. Soldiers. Yeah, I know right? They move slow, the rockets can be blown back by a Pyro yeah yeah I know. But I still hate them. Why? Random crits everywhere that will instant kill you anywhere near them, randomly coming out of fucking nowhere, like on 2Fort, know the small part covered with metal without a roof? Yeah, random air assaults from there. One good shot will doom any class if in mid-range. I can go on but I already know how much I will be told to "Learn to play!"

You'll have to deal with good Soldiers out there.

know what annoys me? being someone who simply thinks that MLP:FiM is a pretty good show. I don't watch all the episodes. I don't write fanfics [sp]or, God forbid, FUCKfics...[/sp] I don't talk about the show 24/7. I even came up with a great name for my Quick-Fix ("Orbital Friendship Cannon" ("This'll fix you up in ten seconds flat.")). but I can't use that name, simply because of the demographic I would be grouped into.
