Wait, wasn't Rainblower worth buds, bills, white paint and deus speks back then? :v:
It wasn't strange, those were worth 1 ref at best.
What really annoys me?
Engineer's Idle Shotgun animation.
Yeah, you can't see it with the normal shotgun and the FJ, but if you make/install a custom model that hasn't got a big pump, you'll see that there's a finger that keeps stretching and moving like if it was animated with gmod!

Problem solved -> Use valve weapons
"Pootis"

Agree x 20.
Bonus points if they're doing it over their mic [sp]triple points if their testicles haven't descended[/sp]
Pootis has never really bothered me. I don't go spouting it all the time, or at all for that matter, but still.

Quadruple points if their spray is the caption "pootis" on an image which has god damn nothing to do with pootis at all.
Anyone who's seen that moronically stupid spray will know exactly what I mean. It's the one with heavy covered in doves.
Max's video displays how I feel accurately
heavy covered in doves?
Don't think I've seen it actually
My game is an utter piece of shit as of late. I don't know what update(s) to blame if there even is any fault to find with them.
Things I face daily when playing:
Constant stuttering, lag spikes, crashing when trying to leave or join a server, Hats, Mics and Weapons being incorrectly placed and/or behaving oddly, missing body parts on Player Models (Yes, I know the 'Handless Heavy' issue isn't new, but I've also witnessed Legless Demomen, Headless Pyros, and others), god-awful hit detection (The 'hit sound' will play but the other player will receive no damage/will not react), Strange Weapons not tracking kills, game sound randomly giving out, Player Models having stretched/wacky skeletons (In my case, the Odd Scout and Odd Spy ARE real), Inability to edit loadouts, missing particle effects (The red 'X's'), having the game randomly switch to a different window, and general lag related issues.
All this, and I still play and, for the most pat, enjoy it somehow.

Hats and miscs being placed incorrectly is a bug with all-class items being worn in the same position as they were on the last class they were on while on the new class.
Missing bodygroups is a common bug, I've seen lots of legless Demomen and headless Pyros.
Crap hit detection is something everyone has to deal with, just find a low-ping server and hope for the best.
Inability to edit loadouts is usually an internet connectivity issue.
Red Xs is fixed by removing your particles folder and verifying files after, I think.
Game switching to another window is odd, but try using -w (your monitor width) -h (height) -windowed -noborder in launch options to make it faster and easier to swap back.
General lag is either your computer, TF2 being unoptimised or server distance or stress.

I wasn't just talking about that to be more specific; they will also float above or sink below the said equip region, clip when they wouldn't normally, have incorrect team colors, are randomly suspended in mid-air without an owner, display wrong styles and have broken jiggle bones.
I know some of these problems are 'fixed' or 'fixable' (Such as the styles not working) but I'm still having these issues.
Example; my Solider Muttonchops (I'm guessing their the problem), bob up and down when I'm moving. So it's floating above my head with one step, and coming out of my neck on the next.

Outpost stuff!
I know your trade has bookmarks, I know your trade has views!
BUT THERE ARE PAGES UPON PAGES OF TRADES FOR PEOPLE THAT DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE STUFF TO SELL.

Did vintages really raise in price this much?
Oh, didn't consider that it might be a special level. Nevermind.

Depends on the level, collectors and all that. Plus, people suddenly jacking up their own prices because they feel it's what it should be worth.
Edit: Had a look and it's a regular level :V

My Vintage Cloak and Dagger is level 100, does that mean I can charge a pair of Earbuds for it?
/the joke
I genuinely like the bill's hat and I like the way it looks. I hate how it's so expensive, I just want a damn military beret for my TF2 characters.
I must say, I think that the trading community would be much better without levels or craft numbers.
Levels don't do a damned thing, craft numbers don't do a damned thing.
Vintages don't really do a damn thing either.
There are so many trades with weapons with unique [sp]unique = 300 of them[/sp] leveled weapons being sold for almost a buds. It's actually really annoying.
Craft numbers don't do anything, but they're not as bad.
Duping sorta ruins it, but you can check for that.
Craft numbers can be cool for collectors, but that's about it.
Vintages don't do single damn thing, other than "this hat was made in ye olde crafting" and shit. Of course it's not consistent at all, it's just a throwaway value. Hmmm, this item is special in a way, fuck it make it vintage.
There might be points where you disagree with me, but all in all, here's what we need [sp]want[/sp]:
)Buds, bill's. These items help make unusual trades less bundle-y with keys and shit.
)Hats/miscs. Great cosmetic items that let us customize our character, nothing wrong with that.
)Unusuals. Not necessary, but a fantastic addition to the game because it can further enhance [sp]make you look richer[/sp] your hat. Plus, the whole 1% chance of uncrating one thing makes getting one for reals an incredible feeling (although almost no one gets to feel it)
)Keys, crates, metal. Obvious reasons.
)Genuines, although they need some altering (untradable/original owner name).
)Stranges, the fact that they count kills is useful as shit, kind of like stats.
)Paint and tags, it lets us further customize our hats, unfortunately misused often by the general community. -cough pink cough - -cough lime* cough- -cough irrelevant pony names cough-
)Self-mades. They're a status thing that the owner definitely deserves.
Here's what we don't need [sp]want[/sp]:
)Max's head (honestly, it just doesn't look great, even if you're a fan of Sam and Max, you have to admit that Max's severed head as a head adornment is pretty stupid. Most people who wear it are just flaunting their riches, and they like to paint it shit colors.)
)Vintages. The only thing this value is good for is changing the border of the icon in TF2B, and who needs that?
)Gift wrap. This item is truly flawed in how it's utilized; its general use is for selling items to people who didn't earn them. I am aware of the mixed reactions this will probably get, for example those who want a license to maim or iron kurtain but are no good at poker or something. But truthfully? I want to be able to surprise one of my friends with something in a way that doesn't leave a stain (as people like to think of them) without actually having to trade them. This is especially so with stranges, gifting stranges is totally pointless. Truly, gift wrap is a seriously mixed bag that we could do without. In my opinion, earn the damned thing or don't get it at all.
)Salvaged crates. They're just so damn unnecessary, holy shit.
)Damaged capacitors/fireproof diaries. Once again, so damn unnecessary.
)Levels. They don't do anything, at all. Plus they're unnoticeable as hell; we're not going to look at the level of your shit, do you ever look at the level of other people's shit? Personal collectors are all these are good for. Definitely something we could live without.
)Craft numbers. Basically the same as levels, but more exploitable by moronic traders.
)Straight upgrade weapons (amputator, solemn vow, third degree). These weapons basically offset any meaning the stock melees have salvaged and therefore totally obsolete them, and to add to the insult they gave the stock melees strange variants anyways (if you count the lollichop).
)Sharp dresser. I have a beef with this weapon for the following reasons:
1. Unlike other knives and knife reskins, this thing has it's own unique kill icon () for some reason. This makes it so that anyone who sees the icon knows that you're using the "knife" (a very trivial complaint, but still bothers me nonetheless).
2. Additionally, no taunt kill. (Also, spectating it is always painful to see the spy's left hand all weird.)
)Strange parts. Now most of you may disagree with me, but I'm putting it here for these reasons:
1. If you already have a well-used [sp]farmed[/sp] strange weapon, you're either forced to reset your strange or stick on the strange part and make you look ridiculous. Wow, you've got 2,500 kills on your sniper rifle but only 127 headshots? Yeah no. I know there's no real way to fix this, but it's still annoying.
2. Most of the parts created are just plain unnecessary. I'll put up a list of ones that are useful and ones that aren't:
Useful: Domination kills, buildings destroyed, allies extinguished, headshot kills. Maybe projectiles reflected, airborne enemies killed.
Not useful: Soldiers, demomen, heavies, scouts, cloaked spies killed, sappers destroyed** (basically counts how many times your teammates failed to kill enemy spies), revenge kills (counts how many times you got dominated), gib kills (no point to this for obvious reasons), critical kills (since it can't be put on things like, for instance, the eyelander where crit kills are rewarding and hard to achieve), full moon kills (the most worthless of them all).
3. As a side reason, headshot kills seriously should have been on all sniper rifles (except the sydney sleeper, of course) by default.

You've got like, expensive genuine items and expensively painted hats.
Some people can't even afford hats. THEY CAN'T EVEN AFFORD HATS.
