On the subject of stranges, very highly obvious strange grinders who are running at you with bats, bonesaws, kukiris and shovels, and no other weapons. How do I know they aren't just using stock? Because they have a BMOC, deus specs and an unusual misc. What [i]else[/i] would they be using?

I wear the Chops and the MvM medal on my soldier. My main loadout is Rocket Launcher, Shotgun, Escape Plan. It's a dull, cookie cutter loadout but still one of my favorites.

I can't bring myself to use them in ANY circumstance, shotgun is just far more useful IMO. As for the Equalizer... I just don't like it. I don't know why, I simply prefer the shovel.

And even when I do, I either back off, jump past or just jump up and down until they switch to the secondary. As for any other class, a few rockets sort em out. Shovel has a lovely charm about it, I'd get a strange one if there was one, I wouldn't ever use it though. Direct Hit all the way. I can't midair at all, I have troubles hitting people sometimes, but it's just so satisying to kill enemies with it.

I prefer stock launcher - it's reliable.

I can't use the stock launcher worth anything after using the Original so long. I swear it really does make a difference in my midrange aim. Seeing the right side of my screen is nice too. Combine that with the Righteous Bison and you've got a pretty well-rounded Soldier at close, mid and long ranges. At least for me.
