I don't like how golden wrenches were given to people who do not play the game / are probably long gone by now
I would certainly make great use of one since I run stock wrench whenever I don't gunslinger.
it's been 5 years and I still play the game
My friend Princess Soarin just gave me 4 buds in free things because he is quitting tf2
:c

I'm sure a lot of these people didn't expect to get the Wrench, let alone expect to get it and expect to continue playing TF2 for this long after.

Maybe they could shuffle the wrenches of accounts that have been inactive for a year or so. Pick them all up and throw them out to the people who actually play the game.
What? It's not like they'd be missed...

The owners would probably feel cheated, regardless of whether or not they played often.
Well then, add a button that says to shuffle the wrench. It'd just be thrown to a random person and there you go! Or something like that... It's not a very good plan, but whatever.

Nah, the problem with the golden wrench was F00l fucking the event and spoil the way Valve took for the distribution. For me the magic of that update die in that second.
Nah, the problem with the golden wrench was F00l fucking the event and spoil the way Valve took for the distribution. For me the magic of that update die in that second.
And now he works there
I hate it when I pick Scout on MvM,and there's that one guy bitching and telling me to switch to Engy, and that Scout is useless.
And then I help get the bonus for several rounds in a row and he's STILL complaining.
Nah, the problem with the golden wrench was F00l fucking the event and spoil the way Valve took for the distribution. For me the magic of that update die in that second.
That and telling a few of his friends the exact times to get them, IIRC. Sucked the fun out of it.
I'd like to play Medic more but my team usually (always) doesn't even try to defend me.
Why can't valve just do another round of goldens? Make them unwrappable and untradable to stay out of greasy trader hands.
[sp]I just want a golden bat. That would make my day[/sp]

Maybe if you stopped running and jumping like a hyperactive flea on crack, I would put it out.
In mvm there are more competent players in boot camp than in Mann up
Also strange escape plan doesn't count taunt kills, or is it just me?
No strange counts taunt kills.

I stood still for a pyro to airblast me once.
It was a spy trying to line up an Ambassador head shot, he succeeded.
I had this situation once where I was healing a pyro while on fire. My pyro patient slowly turned around and looked at me while the medic was screaming about being on fire, then slowly turned back around without doing anything.
I'd have laughed a lot harder if I hadn't been slightly panicked.

Ugh, put 4 refine in your trade not 1.66. I hate that.
People that change their names often on steam are fucking assholes. Seriously, I have so fucking many people on my friends list who I have no fucking clue what so ever who they are or where I met them because of them continuously changing their names to retarded fucking unrecognizable shit like a bunch of spazzed out unfunny paranoid skitzo's on cocaine. The "Add nickname" function does fuck all when I can't figure out who the devil they used to be before they changed their name 20 times over anyway, seriously, fuck these people.

"Sup. Wait, don't you remember me?"
NO, because your last 15 aliases have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NAME YOU HAD WHEN I MET YOU.
The most annoying people in MvM are the people who think they're ~137 tactishions~ and keep ordering people around even though they do nothing themselves.
"Go pyro, sniper is useless, don't use that gun, don't use that flaregun, upgrade this, do that, restart the map because i just bought the wrong upgrade(people still don't realise you can sell stuff pre-round), stop being pyro go engie etc etc"
I was just playing with a guy that made the game so unfun that everyone ended up flaming each other too much to care about the actual robots.
In the end, i decided to find another lobby, and the next couple of games i tried people had no issue with me being sniper or pyro or whatever i wanted as long as i killed enough stuff.
Faith in MvM players restored.
Speaking of snipers:

Not pictured: Two more snipers standing on the bottom floor, one sniper running towards the enemy intel, a lone tear going down my sniper's cheek.
For the sake of the guy at the back, he's probably the only one i've ever seen that actually got kills on 2fort, even though he seemed to have a mental disorder that made him believe peoples heads were positioned in their crotch

It's even worse when they change their avatars daily as well

At least I always keep the =DarkStar= part so people don't get confuse.
But is worse when they jump from avatar every two days.
Snipers who absolutely refuse to learn how to headshot.
Now when I say this in-game people laugh and say I'm butthurt because I keep getting bodyshot, but it's not that at all. Headshots deal huge amounts of damage and actually aren't all that difficult to learn how to do effectively. They're an essential tool in the Sniper's arsenal, and choosing not to use it will only make their team's offense or defense weaker as a result. I'm not complaining because I got killed by something associated with low skill, I'm complaining because I certainly wouldn't want someone of such low proficiency - who CHOOSES to remain that way - on my team. They're more a liability than a player. A prime Spy/Countersniper wooden duck and not much else.
Yes, bodyshots are equally valid as long as they get the kill. I won't argue there. Aside from a few cases I won't discuss again, if you die in TF2, it's probably your fault. But it's NOT a viable tactic to spend five or more shots trying to kill one target. If a Sniper simply decides that headshots aren't worth the effort, then I honestly suggest to them that maybe Sniper isn't worth their time either, if they aren't willing to put one of the strongest attacks in TF2 to use.
Go Soldier or something. We don't need you crowding the decks, you waste of air. Get lost.

That reminds me. I never go Sniper.
Mainly because my aim is awful and I get so worried that I'll do so horrible my team looses because of it. Does anyone have any tips on improving one's aim? Because I sure could use help.

Playing Sniper in MvM is currently the best way to improve one's accuracy quickly. Near unlimited, crowd-loving targets, just begging for one right between the eyes. They'll teach you how to "walk into" headshots (by either moving or allowing them to walk along a flat plane into your sights), how high to aim, what part of the head to shoot (just above Demoman's head, Heavy's neck, etc), and things like that. Give it a try.
It's not unskilled Snipers I detest, as we were all that way at one point. It's the folks who just don't want to even try to improve, which are more common than you'd think.

Oh, and a better mouse goes a long way. A lot of folks I know suddenly went from absolute crap to pretty decent as Sniper because they got a mouse with a higher DPI and a mousepad.
Is it bad that I run the huntsman when I play Sniper in MVM?
I find it extremely effective at killing giants.

With projectile penetration and boosted damage, you can kill an entire horde of bots with one shot, so yeah, I like it

I don't get why people have to be dicks while giving advice.
Honestly, why go "WHAT ARE YOU, A FUCKING F2P? GO ENGIE, SNIPER IS FUCKING USELESS IN MVM. WHY AREN'T YOU USING THE WRANGLER? DO I REALLY HAVE TO CARRY THIS TEAM?" when you could just go "Hey man, would you mind going Engie? We already have one Sniper and that's all we really need atm... Okay, cool, you got a Wrangler? Good, I suggest you use that, helps to pick off far-away targets and whatnot."
I mean Jesus, why be a dick when you could easily NOT be a dick?
