Making a comic doesn't take as long as building a brand new team and making another team with mixed team colors. That'd be a coding nightmare for a MINOR detail that doesn't even affect gameplay. Plus, it opens the possibility of an offense variant of MvM where you play as BLU against red robots. So stop bitching about such a minor cosmetic detail likely to eat a vast ammount of resources to create. Making a comic or a SFM short in the last 2 months wouldn't justify making something prone to break the game even more than the Manniversary.
If they didn't actually have the capabilities to do it, then why did they spend all 3 days of the update telling us the precise thing they didn't actually have the capabilities to do.

Didn't feel like that to me; I got it as all humans together versus the bots.
The most annoying people in MvM are the people who think they're ~137 tactishions~ and keep ordering people around even though they do nothing themselves. "Go pyro, sniper is useless, don't use that gun, don't use that flaregun, upgrade this, do that, restart the map because i just bought the wrong upgrade(people still don't realise you can sell stuff pre-round), stop being pyro go engie etc etc" I was just playing with a guy that made the game so unfun that everyone ended up flaming each other too much to care about the actual robots. In the end, i decided to find another lobby, and the next couple of games i tried people had no issue with me being sniper or pyro or whatever i wanted as long as i killed enough stuff. Faith in MvM players restored. Speaking of snipers: [thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/576716632379059797/63A37220469E9F2B6ED4F82259F2FAC048B19C2A/[/thumb] Not pictured: Two more snipers standing on the bottom floor, one sniper running towards the enemy intel, a lone tear going down my sniper's cheek. For the sake of the guy at the back, he's probably the only one i've ever seen that actually got kills on 2fort, even though he seemed to have a mental disorder that made him believe peoples heads were positioned in their crotch [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] It's even worse when they change their avatars daily as well
I'm sort of guilty for that, I would change my name to fit my mood and also find a picture with the name I'd use and have that as my avatar. But now I've found the name I'll be using forevers.
Sometimes I wonder how much metal I've crafted/traded away without knowing because I'm not psychotic and paying attention to shit like level numbers.
I traded some bloke one of my old hats, turned out it was a Level 100 Vintage Tyrant Helm. Joke isn't on me I guess, because he traded it away without checking either, and got only 3 ref out of it

They had that nice flavor idea that would break the game and be a pain to code, further delaying an update a long time in the making already, just due to a quite young idea. TF2 is BUILT around having a red team and a blue team. Changing the skin logic in such a manner wouldn't have pretty results; as in having regular gameplay teams with mixed colors. Or two extra years of bugtesting due to a "feature", a cosmetic one, that the publicity guys made up in a short ammount of time. Heck, skins for ITEMS go haywire every now and then; can you imagine the trouble of that happening with PLAYERS? It affects gameplay, and it'd be only exist due to a slight cosmetic feature. Thanks but no thanks. Make offensive MvM with engi bots and slighty larger human BLU teams, and it is all fair and square. But otherwise? TOO MUCH TROUBLE for nothing. Just a hat that, by existing, can turn a heavy into a spy.
I still have hope that since we have skins for a robot red team, and the existing gamemode of MvM is a defensive red team against an offensive blu robot team... they'll introduce a new MvM gamemode where you'll play as an offense blu team against a defensive red robot team.
What the fuck are you smoking MVM is awesome
To be brutally honest- MvM is eh. The fresh and unique spin on the hoardmode/towed defense genre is... well, bad imo. There is just so many games that do it better.

I feel it was a great addition and what where you really expecting? It's still tf2 no matter what.
I just wish I could upgrade the medigun range in it.
I just wish I could upgrade the medigun range in it.
I do enjoy all the other medigun buffs though, when I saw how the increased overheal + decreased decay, and then Faster charge rate + slower charge use all worked, it was wonderful
Circlejerking server regulars, mostly in game modes like Deathrun or VSH where they don't kill each other and make twenty people wait cause they feel like having sandvich picnic with everyone having to stare at it.
what where you really expecting?.
A normal, good old horde mode.
Circlejerking server regulars, mostly in game modes like Deathrun or VSH where they don't kill each other and make twenty people wait cause they feel like having sandvich picnic with everyone having to stare at it.
I can't hit agree hard enough.
Cowardly baby men and their most prominent examples: Snipers and Spies.
Those people who think any other class than their own is for scrublords. Often seen with scouts and snipers in my experience.
People who still rag on Pyromania. Other than the wait for it, I can't think of anything wrong with the update, or anything that would cause it to be dubbed "shitty." It introduced several fun and balanced weapons, buffed and nerfed old ones, added a new game mode, handled cosmetic distribution very well (ashes), and added Pyrovision, which may be written off as a gimmick now, but which I enjoy for the amount of work done by Valve to implement it, and the fact that playing with the Rainblower truly makes me feel like the Pyro. On top of that, the deluge of bugs that normally linger after an update were all fixed in short order. The whole shebang was very professionally-handled by Valve.
the stuff they added was polished, but there wasn't enough of it
quality over quantity. that sort of ties in with the long wait, doesn't it? i'm sure if pyromania was released in, say, march it would have had the perfect amount of content in everyone's minds.

While I thought the Scorch Shot was a terrible weapon on paper, it's actually a very fun and somewhat viable weapon. If I had any buff to propose it would be a larger flare. I'm still a little mad the Pyro got one weapon on Pyromania.
Servers that ban for racial slurs but not "faggot." I don't care if you ban hate speech or not, but if you do, ban all of it.
I put up an trade for my Big Kill. The hell just happened :S?
Must be one of those traders who concentrate on profit rather than on the game itself just added you and laughed at the price ya putted.
I once challenged a trader who insulted me for my ignorance of item prices to an ingame 1on1 fight; he didn't get a single kill. I may be bad at trading, but at least I can play the damn game I'm trading my items in.

Just got trickstabbed by a spy who had no right to do it, all because of a framerate drop. I knew the stab was coming, I knew what to do, I knew how good he was and I should've won there. I didn't get that kind of shit a year ago but with all the recent updates TF2's become an unstable, inefficient bloated mess. My computer used to render all those frames with ease, what the hell happened?

It's worse when the spy stops to tell you you're bad after lagstabbing you.

Thread's almost up, didn't realise. Anywho: Seeing my team mates taunt after every kill in a serious game annoys me so much.
Thread's almost up, didn't realise.
I'll be calling dibs on next thread. Anyhoo, I really dislike it when I put a sentry and dispenser somewhere like on a staircase in Sawmill and another Engineer happens to build his sentry and dispenser near my gears. "Uhh...you know a Demoman can take all those out with his stickies, right?" "Nope! :D"

Called that fact out and he said "Yeah...bit of a lag spike" At least he admitted it
