That bug is still there?
"tis not a bug u scrub tis a feathurrr :downs:" [editline]27th March 2012[/editline] But yes, it's still around, and it's fucking annoying.
Well, it makes the full set viable; the Targe should also be able to damage at any distance.
Well, it makes the full set viable; the Targe should also be able to damage at any distance.
Yes, but You shouldn't be able to crit after the shield bash. Seriously, how many classes get 1 hit killed by this? That's fucking cheap, one free kill per charge at the only cost of being a bloody dumbass.
Yes, but You shouldn't be able to crit after the shield bash. Seriously, how many classes get 1 hit killed by this? Would kill a Heavy. Eyelander (5 heads taken) + Splendid Screen: 85 + 17x5* + 195 = 365 (the bash itself would already do 170 damage) *Each head increases the damage by 17, up to 5 heads. Ullapool Caber + Splendid Screen: 85 + 105 + 300 = 490 Yeah... splendid indeed.
Annoying shit: The volume slider is stupid. Only the very end of it has any real effect on the sound volume. And it's also very annoying how you can't have separate sliders for fx volumes and voice volume.
"All right, time to take my teleporter since my stuff is getting destroyed..." *3 Scouts cram the teleporter and I try to get in* xxScoutwithcrtsxx: Fuck off, Ayane-152. Teleporter whore, much? *My stuff gets destoryed and the Scout gets killed*
Hero scouts!
Oh, excuse me if the soldier runs sighly slower than scout when hurt, now it is balanced! No, seriously, I fucking run with the equalizer, equip the rocket launcher when I spot an enemy, I freaking GIB THEM TO DEATH, and then continue my daily jogging session. And remember: Soldier is my less used class, I main Pyro. I would be happy if the equalizer had honorbund until you get healed < Actually, I would LOVE this. Soldiers and heavies running as fast as the light weight classes. But giving a incendary cannon for the pyro will be soooooo game-breaking (it´s just an example)
But at the point where you're almost at Scout speed you can be killed extremely easily even if you're just running away. Sure, sometimes you can still get kills, but other times you'll be killed before you even know what's going on.

The Splendid Screen and crits on shield bash made Demoknights A VIABLE PLAYSTYLE: Trade away area control for a surefire melee kill.
Hero scouts!
You have a fucking fetish for scout like Rong. Except Rong's fetish actually makes sense.
A VIABLE PLAYSTYLE: Trade away area control for a surefire melee kill.
Or you could kill everything with the sticky launcher.
Hero scouts!
What the hell is wrong with you? There is other classes besides scout you know.

I mean, you are a heavy class, act like one: get a medic and get fire focused on you, and spam freaking explosions and bullets everywhere. But specially choose carefully when you attack. Don´t spam everywhere and run away when you are done. Without the equalizer he would be killed at low health too, you know

So, I have this acquaintance on my friends list who hits me up for free stuff.....I usually don't accept today though they offered me a spacechem pin for an engineers cap I had, so I accepted it. They crafted the engineers hat to get a fast learner. which they then traded to get an unusual I have no idea how to feel about this... plus they wantedto 'borrow' my high five taunt.
While the Equalizer is pretty much a direct upgrade of the shovel (the downside is bullshit, as we all know), one must be wise with it; running into battle with low health almost NEVER works. Sneaking up on people like a speedy spy is a way; close combat while at low health is also good so you don't gib yourself. It's almost a confidence booster; in the wrong hands, it'll just get some players killed. 'Course, it can also be a lifeline, saving you just in time, especially through twisty paths. The equalizer has saved me so many times from heavies and such that I couldn't rocket enough in time to kill them before they kill me, or are too close to safely blow up. (These are just my personal thoughts, maybe not what others think.)
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/882929 *those offers* :suicide: I'd give them a fucking HOUWAR if they promised to never play TF2 again.

Plus, playing a lot of spy helps with quick melee tactics that come in handy when you're at low health and are being chased by that scout.

If he managed to trade a fast learner for an unusual, I'd say he doesn't need your help. You should be happy for him and be cool that he let you have a spacechem pin, some wouldn't even go this far. However, he has to understand he cannot continuously ask you for stuff. Tell him that if he wants to borrow your high five taunt, he'll have to lend you something of equal value.
Hero scouts!
Listen, we already know you hate engies. But guess what? Instead of whining like a baby you could, like, adapt to the situation and switch to the spy, demo or soldier if you really want to get rid of the sentry. And you always could use TEAMWORK to destroy engineer's nest by going Medic and übering one of your team mates with an appropriate class. If you're too much in love with scout to play other classes so you could take care of a single thing that sits still with a thumb up it's ass in this game instead of crying here, you'd better start thinking if that sounds right at all. And what comes to Scouts, they are far more annoying than any engineer I've met in this game. The worst ones are usually found in VSH servers doing their best to push Hale around while dealing little to no damage and messing up Sniper's shots and stealing teles when the engineers need it the most. They are fucking worthless bags of shit in that gamemode and should not be allowed at all. As you can see, your favourite class isn't any better than your most hated class. Now start thinking what you're talking about before you post, and we might actually forgive your recent behaviour.

And seriously, 7 buds for this shit?

Or so I've been told.
Apparently the price became super inflated after a tournament thousands of people watched where the competitors were using strange festives. That's why they're worth a ton.
Apparently the price became super inflated after a tournament thousands of people watched where the competitors were using strange festives. Or so I've been told.
Some people seem to forget that strange festives are still vanilla weapons. What's worse about this trade is that the guy rejects every single offer on his worthless shit, like it's made of gold. B/O would be a rope with a ready-made slip knot.
What the hell is wrong with you? There is other classes besides scout you know.
Hey, everyone has to have a favourite class in something. As you can see, I'm rather fond of engineering. [editline]28th March 2012[/editline] I suppose the difference is I take other classes and players into consideration while playing my favourite class.
What's VSH??
Versus Saxton Hale mode.
They were only available for a very limited amount of time out of Naughty Crates, and those only had a small chance of giving stranges to begin with. That's why they're worth a ton.
That's true as well, but there's no way that's the only reason, because the price spike occurred one day out of nowhere. It wasn't gradual like other items, they literally just shot up in price, and the tournament was apparently the cause of the sudden spike in demand. I would know, I sold mine a month after they were no longer available. The selling price wasn't much different, and then the next week anyone who owned them was suddenly swimming in dosh.
