It annoys me that the Kritzkrieg, Backburner and Natascha (the first 3 new main weapons) are the vanilla ones with an attachment. They'd be better if given some more unique stuff...

No no no no no! TF2 started going downhill after weapons were added that differed from the original weapons. Up until the Sandvich, all weapons and items were just variations of the originals. This way, you could always tell what was coming at you and what class was able to beat you/what class you could beat. It was more strategic because you could matchmake what classes cold beat each other and support each other in a certain way. The game has become more of a generic FPS and every character can do everything. The game was a lot more interesting before the Heavy Update. I don't know, maybe I'm just a dinosaur.
I fucking HATE crit stickies. Fired and ready to detonate in .6 of a second and deals roughly 180-353 damage (that's from about 6ft away to right on top of).

Nah, you are no dinosaur. Dinosaurs actually perfectioned metabolism to be able to be active while not being as wasteful as us mammals, and, even if hurt by the K-Pg extinction, they still have twice as many species as mammals do, despite their modern stock being derived from a very specialiced to begin with clade.
Dinosaurs can adapt to anything and be sucessful. You don't seem to be the type.
BTW, the Flare Gun is not a Shotgun. Oh, and the FaN, Direct Hit, Ambassador and Frontier Justice exist and are not that different from the vanilla ones in function, but at least they aren't the vanilla weapon with a piece of junk in its firing place. Even the Scottish Resistance (AKA the BLU skin of the Sticky Launcher) looks more unique.
