Team Fortress 2 (And Friends) General Chat - Seiteki will steal my OP

The most amazing thing happend to me durning this round of TF2. So prepare for a glorious read!

It was my standard night, I was bored so I fired up TF2 to play some payload. I ended up on thundermountain.

After playing for a few minutes, I saw people complain in the chat, and started a vote to kick a supposed "hacker". I didnt belive it, as I have heard that story before.

But then.. I saw a demoman, ubered, killing players. There was no medic. It's like he was magically ubered, INFENTLY! It never wore off. First I actually thought he was a valve employee with those weapons, so I joined spectator, but he wasnt. It had a standard eyelander and he seemed new to the game aswell (Merc badge and gibbus) so I was very confused.

Then I saw at spawn, there was a medic by the name of "ubercharge".

I stayed at spawn to observe what he was doing, the demo respawned, the medic was getting uber at an insane rate, probably 10% per second, then he ubercharged the demo, when the uber hit 0% it still goes on.

The demo quit as he was scared he was gonna get banned and such, so I started calling MEDIC! infront of him. He started healing me, he hit uber, and you guessed it.

I was invulnerable. A heavy with infinate uber. It was fun.

The map changed to barnblitz, I tried using different classes and the medic seemed to pair with me every time. He was staying at spawn, yet somehow he could uber me across the entire map when he was inside the spawn AFKing.

Spy was definetly the most fun class. Chasing people around stabbing them in the face, those who tried to run away got backstabbed.

I got a few replays aswell (I might upload them sometime tommorow perhaphs, not sure.)

Im unsure if it made me a bad person, but I had a really good time.

Im wondering if anyone would turn away such an offer.

Like,
+Uber doesn't drain if you have no target
-Cannot uber self
-20% shorter Ubercharge

That sounds useless tbh. You'll be dead once you pop it from all the spam coming your way and there's not much of a point to storing something that short, since you'll either waste the uber when you need to heal someone, or you can't heal anyone in fear of losing your uber.

Yeah. Okay maybe that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I just think it's silly to restrict people from that in your server. I know it's your rules, and you can do whatever you want but that just seems like an odd one.

Family friendly servers are bullshit. M rated game, and you want to make it family friendly? Holy shit, if you buy your son an M rated game, don't expect players to be 100% friendly, 100% of the time.

well, to be frank out of most "M" rated games TF2 is pretty low on the violence or offensive content scale. It's cartoon violence, really.

That being said still, probably won't be playing there frequently.

Also, one of the server rules was "No arguing/disagreeing with admins"

sorry, that's someone trying to play king, I'm not following that. Sure. You can make rules, but you can't ban people for disagreeing or arguing with you.
