[B]...THAT'S IT[/B], the game says.[/QUOTE] To me, getting the best gear, beating all of the bosses, getting [b]all[/b] of weapons (for reskin weapons (copper, iron, silver, gold), only the highest tier), and getting all of the NPCs (including Santa) is what would be considered endgame. Building a giant-ass castle? That's optional. But I really am disappointed that the developer just came to a screeching halt, and decided, "NYAAAAH I'M GONNA BUILD A NEW GAME. FORGET DEH OLD ONE, JUST...PUSHIT ASIDE."

I did burn about 160 hours into the game in the first 2 weeks it released. Played the shit out of it with my best friend. It's a good game, but it's got nothing pulling me back in.
