It's a pretty fun game, only real issues with it were that some of the units were rather silly and that Uprising just had so many endgame units for everyone but the Soviets it was ridiculous. I will agree with you that the later Tiberium games were pretty bad, though. I'm very glad I didn't buy CnC4 before I'd tried CnC 3.
