Your typical UT/Q fps announcer duty handled by a John Madden style announcer with a unique look at the dystopian world. In SMNC, due to complications with the voice actor for Mickey, he is replaced with two bland-I mean brand new ones, who have the personalities of "angry" and "cardboard sock"
Pit Girl serves as the cheerleader type with the right blend of TnA to draw people in but not enough to be awkward and immature like Dead or Alive. Although it's more of a nitpick, Combat Girl's role in SMNC as a playable class, while an interesting idea that I missed going back to MNC, (Also her ass in the third person view did not disapoint) it kind of weakens Pit Girl's role is a bit redundant. However, story wise it makes a bit of sense- Pit Girl would be popular enough for people to want to see more of her.
Which brings me to my main point- it's a professional sport, and in MNC it damn well feels like it. Everyone has uniforms, and costumes make small changes to those most of the time, like adding Spunky beer hats or a simple hat and weapon replacement for the summer items. Their names don't sound out of place with many sports terms-Support, Shortstop, Quarterback, see what I mean?Endorsements were a strike of brilliance. I mean, getting your bonuses from Company endorsements- real life sports players do it all the time, so why not yours? Each character is also unique (except for the Tank) and has distinctive personalities. In SMNC, you have either characters like Cheston or Karl, who while both awesome stick out like sore thumbs, characters like Artemis and Gunslinger who have little personality outside of bios, or characters that seem to been made by the lowest common denominator.

MNC handles a unique blend of Third Person Shooters, Tower Defense, and a dash of MOBA.
Until recently in SMNC, that is dumped for "Generic MOBA with the empty husk of MNC stapled onto it"
It just annoys the crap out of me, you know?
I'm just pissed that they threw the sugar-coated-dystopia's-entertainment-in-the -form-of-a-NFL-run Unreal Tournament. out so easily when it was fantastically done. They put way too much effort into it for it to go to waste, but since SMNC is F2P, I doubt it's going to have any love.

Well, the part where I left was when they added Da Vinci and Artemis, they both look too different to the others Pros, like they came from DoTA or LoL style... and then they added TF2 like style. Well they have to earn money somehow, but I think some things are unnecessary. But yeah, is my opinion.
Also, no more offline mode. I find it funny how I bought multiplayer games like Team-Fortress 2 or Counter-Strike only to play with bots most of the times.
