Sooo lemme get this straight here.

We get an entirely free gamemode that is NOTHING like what we've had before. We get an entire set of maps to play it in, and customisation of all possible guns.

And a pay for OPTIONAL COSMETIC SET that does nothing but be fancy.

For some reason, the last part instantly makes it shit? Uh, i think people missed the first part. And the fact it's entirely optional and changes nothing gameplay-wise.

I can't help but feel a small, itty-bitty sense of entitlement there. Sorta. Maybe sorta kinda.

Oh, by the way, you can still get the items without actually having a ticket.

There are the Squad Surplus tickets, which are also won when in Mann Up Mode. If used, the entire team gets items, as opposed to just those in Mann Up Mode.

Except that's generally not how things like this work?

They're explicitly stating a freedom you have (that is, saying you don't need a ticket to play on non-official servers). If they're explicitly stating it like that, it's implied you DO need a ticket to play on official servers.

Again, the problem is the mann up mode which add a track sistem for your playtime.

This could be easily free but Valve will charge a very small amount of money.

About the cosmetics is pretty ok after all you can get them via trading so no big deal.

I haven't really cared enough to check out the update page yet.

If it's set to where you need a ticket for official servers, I don't think people will really mind.
They complain about playing on them quite often.

I really hoped the update would come sooner so I could play.
But in the next hour I'll have a football/soccer match to watch then I'll have to go to sleep then tomorrow I won't have time in the morning since I go to school at 1 p.m and have gym in the morning and I only leave school at 6:20 p.m ;_;

I'll restate; I've skimmed the update page, not read every little detail.

I just find it annoying that people complain about every update, especially when they're not obligated to actually do anything related to it.

Somehow, i expected to get angry at such a great update somehow. They do it every time.

...I figured it be less predictable. Something this amazing, and they still complain about it because of optional pay-for cosmetics.

I'm just gonna fucking play it and enjoy the gamemode. Hell, i might even buy a ticket or two, because i don't HAVE to but DESIRE TO.
