It wont have anywhere near the same impact 1 did, and its coming out in a time where games that run on very little story arent all that popular. They could make it pander to whats popular now, but it wont be Doom if they did. They really cant win unless they pull something incredible out of their asses, and recently their work hasnt been that good. Not bad, but not the same level as the 90s. I really dont think Doom 4 can pull it off. If it does, Im happy for them, but Im not getting my hopes up.

So I just went to wash up my dishes and through the window I saw what appeared to be a boomerang in my pool. After going outside for a closer inspection, there is indeed a boomerang in my pool. Why is there a boomerang in my pool.

Hehe, recording demos with host_timescale changed can make you look like you're using hacks.

Hey guys I just had a neat idea, what about a gamemode like Saxton Hale, but each team has regular players and each team has one hale. I think it could create an interesting dynamic between players attacking each other, attacking the hale, and each hale could save their teammates by making themselves a bigger threat to the opposing hale, with the easiest way to win remaining eliminating all regular players. Just a thought.

Unless hale has only like 1000 health instead of the normal 15k, then that sounds pretty bad. 15k hale is hard enough to kill with concetrated fire with everybody on one team, imagine two with a max of 11 players on each team.
