What I never liked about HR is a game that offered me so much choice never offered me an ounce of choice with Jensen.
No matter how you played Jensen, you always got the feeling he was incredibly resentful about his augmentations, which I wasn't. I'm pretty damn pro-aug, I think cybernetic arms are worth it. It really distanced me from Jensen.
What bothered me most overall about this, was Jensen's girlfriend, Megan. I know we're supposed to know they once had a happy relationship, but the game did not show any of that, in the 10 minutes she was in, they had no moments which suggested why I should care for her. The Darkness, did this perfectly. You have a sequence where you and your lady sit on the couch and watch TKAM. It was lovlely, simple, and showed they had an interest in each other.
I had no reason to care about Megan, and that's why I didn't invest in the plot as much. Jensen was travelling across the world doing all this crazy shit to hunt down someone I had no reason to care about.
TL;DR I liked Human Revolution, I never gave 2 shits about Jensen's ex

Max Payne is only a whiny prick in the 3rd one, and that one doesn't count as a Max Payne game, that's just a third person COD.
Max is a noir protagonist in the first 2. He's certainly pretty depressed and he's got nothing to live for, but by god he's a fucking rainbow of sunshine compared to the emo cunt they made him in 3.

Also, I tore my keyboard apart yesterday (anger issues and such), and while I was putting my keys back in place, I managed to fix my spacebar. No more missing spaces in posts. :v:

My old keyboard itself was bulky, but my keys were fragile. So if I had to clean stuff from underneath it, I could just use a penny to pluck out the keys and remove the stuff from there. And then put the keys back.
Works like a charm~.
