Wow recently I've encountered servers that randomly starts playing sound adverts even after the MOTD.

But here's the kicker, if I happen to disconnect just as one starts, my TF2 crashes :suicide:

I've had good experience with CritSandvich, Valve servers (shut up), and sometimes even Lotus.

at least 20-30 pony servers, some to extremes, that I got connected to via automatic game finding (there's a reason there's an empty read-only folder named "ponyspencer" in my game files; that folder kicks/crashes me out of sv_pure 1 pony servers too depending on their whitelist restrictions)
Servers that don't let you votekick (with exceptions if they have a decent amount of admins)
Servers that force you to view HTML ads (still working on this)
MVM servers that change the map on ONE!! round fail
MVM pony servers (One of them replaced my class models)

I don't mind donator servers if their donation effects don't affect gameplay, such as fake unusuals.

Good servers shouldn't need to spam those ads at all. They're stupid, they don't work for those who disable HTML motds, and they're plain unfitting for TF2.
They cause a lot of annoying adverts that depending on the person's train of thought completely disrupt gameplay.

* Servers that modify my game without permission. It's one thing if you've got something like "Quake sounds" installed (even though they're from fucking Unreal Tournament), because I can turn those off and the WAV files honestly don't take up that much room. It's another thing if my Demoman suddenly turns into Undercover Brother and I find a bunch of rainbow horse hair on my sniper rifle. And if I find you changed [b]any[/b] of my keybindings you'll be my first victim if I ever get my hands on a botnet.

* Pay 2 Win servers. Need I say more.

* Servers with incompetent admins (this includes 12 year old admins, et al). It's one thing if I get banned for my Extreme Jenga 9/11 spray, I'd kind of deserve it then. It's another thing if I get banned because I fucked up breaking an engi nest, or because I was the top player on the winning team when we beat you.

* Trade servers. As far as I'm concerned, "no special reputation" == "scammer". Unless I actually know you, or someone I do know can vouch for you, your only real goal is to rip me off. So I just remove those servers from sight so I don't have to look at them.

* RP servers. While I don't ever see them in TF2, this is a general Source game blacklist rule, so I'm including it anyway.

* Liars. "31/32 players none of them bots!!!", join server, only 4 bots there.

* Forced ads. My computer already freezes up loading basic HTML in the MOTD browser, that's why I disabled HTML MOTDs, throwing in full Flash ads with blinking lights and moving images and shit could very well cause my CPU to fucking detonate.

* Ping kickers. Sometimes I get a bunch of dllhost.exe processes hogging all my CPU (though it recently stopped when I disabled automatic driver updates, so I think I solved it), and this causes my ping to shoot up (since my game isn't getting enough juice to respond to the server as quickly). And trust me, you don't need to kick me, I already well fucking know I'm lagging by now.

* Servers that modify the crit rate. I just plain don't like them.

No spread is crazy. It makes the spread on the FaN about 1 meter apart at the range of 10 meters. The Shortstop fires in a even more accurate T shape. You can do a somewhat decent amount of damage from one end to the other end of 2fort's bridge

As a fellow KBNHUD user, I can confirm that it works perfectly even on sv_pure servers. Well, not sure about the class images and such, but the HUD elements (including the damage indicator circle) works just fine.

the only other mod I have installed is an Ed, Edd n Eddy class image replacer, and since KBNHUD doesn't show your class anywhere like the default TF2 HUD does (unless I'm blind) then if sv_pure messes with that what the hell ever.
