I don't think they'll ignore it, but it will probably take about an week and then you'll just get an automated response. I hate to say it, but Steam's support isn't the best, or the quickest.

Dude, it's only been 3 days. Steam has apparently over "30 million active users", that's a lot of tickets. Wait a week for your automated response.

I had a gentlemanne's medal too. How fantastic. Hats, without a doubt, ruined TF2. I honestly have zero intention of ever playing TF2 again just for things like this.

Oh shit, sorry to hear that your whole backpack was erased. This is just further evidence that hats ruined Team Fortress 2.
This has to be brought to attention.
The fact the report system is being abused is one thing.
I would be cool with them deleting everything in my backpack and also TF2 as long as the account is reactivated
(I'd prefer justice be served, though).

Should we get more facepunch members to email? Even though I got a warning, an entire backpack wipe is STILL overdoing it
I spent days trying to get all my items back after the Golden Wrench fiasco and hey, what do you know, Valve decides to wipe my account clean.
You could Email whoever is in charge of this sort of thing. I tried Robin, but he didn't read it. He responded with "Make a ticket"
