They've done a crossover with Dota 2 and threw in the flying courier as a Balloonicorn replacement, but I can't remember if that was before or after Ethan Mars became a playable character.

It adds a Mario and Luigi cap for Engie and Soldier (Single item, but the styles are In The Spotlight and Second Banana) and Bowser horns for Heavy. It even added a new CP map, in the style of the mario games.

But they're still yet to fix Loch'n'Load
