Right, remember Mann Co. HQ? The map that I said would be more suited for SFM?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/8kt9e.jpg[/t]
Yeah, when I tried to import it to Source Filmmaker, apparently it has no HDR, causing several problems. So in the mean time, I'll be trying to make it SFM compatible!
That map looks interesting, what's the name?
Also, kind of an unrelated question, but does someone knows where or who is best suited to help me with my network problems? I keep disconnecting for no reason at random times. I believe the problem comes from my network card but I don't know this stuff well enough to fix that.
I bet you cyber a lot.
I only roleplay with Munchy with him being a cat and me being hiw owner.

Thats even more disturbing.

Though, the unfortunate part is that the waves are too easy, and the "difficulty" is randomly distributed. For example, Wave 2 is easier than Wave 1, because Wave 2 only has fists Heavies, while Wave 1 had Scattergun Scouts. At least, I think that's what it was, but it's certainly harder to have faster moving targets than slow, melee classes.
Plus, just by the looks of the map, it seems more suitable for Source Filmmaker.
Unfortunately, I'm not good at any of this Hammer editor stuff, so for now, I'm only going to just recompile the map to have HDR. If anyone would like to help on making it more SFM suited, by removing the unnecessary parts like the upgrade station and bomb hole thingy (whatever it is), let me know!

It's like vsh_manncohq or something
Tacos
It's like vsh_manncohq or something
Wait, there's a Versus Saxton Hale version of it?
That explains the sucky waves for the MvM version...
Indeed they are, morning GC.

Yes?

Yeah it was VSH waaaay before it was mann vs machine.
Great vsh map too. One of the best, I'd say.
Yes?
No. I don't like tacos, they taste weird for me. :c

Then that does explain the sucky waves...
Ah well, probably not as recent as the MvM version.

Thanks, I'll look up for both. I need to bother myself while I wait for Pokemon White 2 to be delivered :v:
This week's gonna be long
Joined Mann Up. They were on the last wave on the last robot. Free items, yay.
Thats even more disturbing.
What? I can't have real cats...
Well this is nice. While I was recompiling the map (in fact, I think I was RIGHT about to be finished with doing so), I suddenly get four C++ errors, then something crashed, and the map was never compiled.
:suicide:

Remaking the map to be SFM compatible, or trying to make the waves less sucky? I'm going to assume the former, and if so, I can give you the map, if you want!
No. I don't like tacos, they taste weird for me. :c
Rude :C
Also, I'm still waiting for that snowy MvM map.
UberMunchkin always acts like a cat on Steam.

And it's the most annoying thing, ever.

Well, uh, it was more in the lines of, "I'll try to find a server with this map". :v:
Although making waves shouldn't be really complicated, I suppose.
It's just a matter of telling how many bots of which type spawns during a wave, is it?
Also I can't even run SFM so I can't help with that one :v:

I suppose. But from a suggestion I've heard for the MvM map, it seems that having fast-moving bots is the way to go for making waves, and I think that's more or less true.
I can upload the map and give it to you, if you want!
Munchy is on a multiply weapon stats by 10 server hate him
I found a Whoopee Cap in a drop, and then I traded it away for an uncraftable Robro 3000. Is that good?
That's not good.
That's the best fucking trade you could ever dream of

I've never done that, but I can always try.
the only thing I did with .txt files in TF2 is replacing the Gibus with a Golden Wrench and changing names when it was still possible :v:

Ah, those were the days.
Anyways:

Though, to be honest, I'm not sure how the fuck do you even find custom maps' "custom wave" files. Maybe it's somehow within the map itself?
Edit: Nope, not even within the map itself. Custom maps are majestic...

Do you refer how the map has a custom wave?
Does anyone have a strange Scout weapon they don't use? I have a detonator I don't really want and I'm looking for primary strange Scout weps.

I'd give you my shortstop, but I already have a detonator.
Sorry :c

It's in the server files.
Got a copy of one of the original .pop files (contains waves info), I'll start with that.

Where would said server files be in? Because I tried to look up .pop in my tf folder, but all I got was a custom CoalTown wave file that I'm working on...
Tacos are delicious.
Tacos are awesome, but Tortillas are even better!
Infact, I'm eating a Tortilla atm
