So I'm reading a university course right now, which requires me to occasionally read in a book containing snippets of original writing by a bunch of renaissance philosophers. For some reason, reading this specific book always causes me to start mentally picturing parts of pl_upward. It's not like I'm just getting distracted and start thinking about TF2 in general; I never think of TF2 when I read the other books, and I never think of anything that isn't pl_upward when I read this specific book. It's not even that distracting, actually; I just sit and read and comprehend the writing of (for example) Spinoza, while my brain simultaneously plays (for example) a looped clip of rocketjumping to the second floor of the building by the first checkpoint. Believe it or not, I did not intentionally grab the pageking to ensure that everyone would get maximum exposure to this riveting tale.
