Robots screws basic rules of this game. While you are ubered you can't pick up an objective. Robots can, humans not.

How much longer are the Mann-up missions compared to the Boot-camp Mann vs. Machine?
Mann vs. Machine always feels so short for me.

Mann Up is longer in two ways; it has more waves, and more enemies per wave. It will take a longer time, don't worry.

You'll also always get something useless that you could've gotten just by playing the normal game, and hate Mann Up mode.
