Neither am I dude, I just used that Wibu thing or whatever the fuck it's called. Now I wanna get rid of Ubuntu. It looks too much like a Mac to me :v: I have absolutely no fucking idea about what to do with Linux, I used it like once in high school.
I should start a "I'll-startup-tf2-on-my-linux-box-for-you-for-a-fee" service.
I think I'll end up doing this but for free seeing so many of you are having Linux problems. I've already done Digivee and two friends, should I make a thread about it?

I don't even want the Penguin at this point if I can even make heads or tails of this OS. Idk if I installed the wrong one from the dropdown list (I just used the first one in it. See, I don't have any fucking idea :v:) or what. Welp, looks like I'm gonna have to find a way to get rid of this; it's not worth my time. I'll probably ask my little brother when he gets home from upstate tomorrow; he's more Ubuntu Savvy than I am.

The steam package dependiences issue (at least for me) was due to me installing the 64-bit Ubuntu installer and not the 32-bit (which for me it should have been in the first place). You have to manually download the ISO image and put it in the same folder as the wubi.exe file to get this to install. If you can use 64-bit you have to go through the steps above, otherwise 32-bit worked like a charm in installing steam very quickly. Now to get the tf2 CGF files and bam.

Clusterbuttfuck. That's the word I'mma use to describe that mess of miscs.
Oh god, if the third misc slot existed, you could slam a Surgeon's Side Satchel in there and turn Medic's belt into a massive clusterfuck.
More random garbage on his belt than Batman.
Late? You forgot your Rump-o-Lantern, gosh.
B-But it doesn't go with the clusterfuck...
I didn't feel like going through this hassle for the tux so I payed a guy 1.33 ref and he got me a tux in 3 minutes.
Its more of belt fuck.
Im just gonna try the Virtual Box method i saw on that one steam forum thread and see if that works.
Decided to install Linux. An ex-friend of mine reccomended it to me a while ago, but now seems like the perfect time to try it. I put the files on a thumb drive, booted up the installation... And I love it. I feel like I'm on a brand new computer. I seriously reccomend it to everyone here. You can install it along side Windows/your current OS to keep your files intact. It's 100% free, comes with its own versions of MS Word, PowerPoint, etc, and hey, you get a penguin.
