Okay, I've edited that gibtuxpls program somebody posted before, this time it doesn't change your name. What the program does is log into Steam, pretending to be a linux os, then launches TF2. Bam, you get the Tux. The original code would change your name to "i cheated for a tux", and that would stay in your name history forever, so it'd be easy to tell who used the program.

Source code is identical except for removing the name change parts. Uses SteamKit2 as a library, to my knowledge this doesn't affect VAC or account bans but to be safe I've only used it on my two idle accounts. I have no clue if you can get account banned or not, so to be safe don't use it on your main account, I'm sure as hell not going to. But hey, there are other programs using this library so I dunno.

If it's not installing b/c of i386 error:

sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386
sudo apt-get update

sudo dpkg -i steam.deb
sudo apt-get install -f # (If the above command errors)
sudo dpkg -i steam.deb
