chances are the BL promos are added sooner rather than later. Probably tonight or tomorrow.

I've been saying for awhile they need to not support DX8 anymore, beyond the game actually running.

If you live in the us you can consider yourself lucky, in europe we are getting buttfucked by the exchange rates and whatever shit taxes they add.

tf2 wouldn't stop working on DX8, it's just they'd stop fixing DX8 specific bugs that weren't game breaking. At some point the time needed to fix burn overlay on the 20th cosmetic is just not worth it for half a percent of users

with the Buck Roger's shoes or whatever on Demoman looks like he has super weak legs. I wish they didn't just recolor Scout's legs. The shoes are pretty cool and can't be confused with the Booties at all so they're okay to me I guess if we're putting shoes for Demoman in.

Dropping DX8 support would cause a great decrease in the amount of players. That'd be quite the negative impact in a F2P title such as TF2. My computer is pretty bad, but I have loads of optimixation mods and commands to make TF2 look pretty but run somewhat smoohly. If I used DX8 for TF2 and Valve decided to stop updating all their new items to fix bugs for it, I'd still be happy that they even allow you to lower your setting by that much. Not like you can set crysis or most other games to dx8 if your computer sucks :v:
