nvm
My Steam keeps updating/reminding the last patch (feb 15th) .. getting pretty annoying. Anyways, another update for TF2 this week?
Did the taunt whilst the team was waiting to start. I saw everyone turn towards me. :) The taunt is one of the best I've seen in ages. The animation is really great however I kinda wish each class had their own unique animation. I would of loved to see different some styles.

It might take a few tries, but Steam is guaranteed to start sooner or later like this.

Once in steam, it downloads the update and reminds me about it a thousand times. Forgot to mention about a message which keeps saying i participated in the Steam beta and that i should restart Steam, which doesn't change anything.
To be fair I can see the tf2 animators being fired due to lack of productiveness, one of the main complaints about tf2 I've seen is that we never got animation fixes or new animations any more, maybe we're going to see more decent animation like this in the future [sp]and a lochnload animation fix[/sp]
and a spy-cicle fix. It uses the revolver animation still.
and a spy-cicle fix. It uses the revolver animation still.
Wasn't it supposed to use that animation?
yep, that's an intended taunt for it because it had some glitches with the knife taunt
I like how, for some reason, the taunt in and of itself is being treated like a major update.
He holds it rather strange though.
I like how, for some reason, the taunt in and of itself is being treated like a major update.
How the mighty have fallen.
yep, that's an intended taunt for it because it had some glitches with the knife taunt
What were they, exactly? This is the first I've heard of that.
I like how, for some reason, the taunt in and of itself is being treated like a major update.
Valve doing animations, much less nine animations is pretty major in and of itself.
you were totally immune to fire while taunting and it could still kill, despite no knife.
you were totally immune to fire while taunting and it could still kill, despite no knife.
That doesn't sound that bad all things considered. I'm surprised yet not surprised that instead of fixing it they just changed the taunt, though.
you were totally immune to fire while taunting and it could still kill, despite no knife.
I remember that, good [sp]actually bad[/sp] times.
That doesn't sound that bad all things considered. I'm surprised yet not surprised that instead of fixing it they just changed the taunt, though.
Well there's nothing that can be done in order to "fix" it short of simply terminating the taunt prematurely, which could cause an entirely new host of issues. It's the same kind of issue as taunting with the Dead Ringer active. Nowadays, taunting with it out will no longer trigger the feign.
I like how, for some reason, the taunt in and of itself is being treated like a major update.
Well it's the best thing we've had in 2013.
it's also the first action slot taunt we've had in years
it's also the first action slot taunt we've had in years
Year and a half.
And the first promo taunt.
I wonder how they'll distribute it after the promo. Drop system would probably be the easiest. And it'd still be incredibly rare.
I wonder how they'll distribute it after the promo. Drop system would probably be the easiest. And it'd still be incredibly rare.
Craft 3 taunts = Taunt slot token, obviously. You totally won't lose money at all.
I wonder how they'll distribute it after the promo. Drop system would probably be the easiest. And it'd still be incredibly rare.
Craft all the Pyro Melees (except Lollichop) + Frontier Justice = Shred Alert.
we're at a point now where crafted "rare" items are wayyyyy more common than those found in random drops. I kind of wish this translated more into the game, and have more items randomly drop since it's essentially meaningless towards rarity. [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] for reference there are 5 times as many crafted Hootsalots (~2000) than those found in a random drop (~400)

So how long do you think, if the Shred Alert is drop-only, will it take for normals > genuines?
So how long do you think, if the Shred Alert is drop-only, will it take for normals > genuines?
years probably, I rarely see people getting taunts and Brutal Legend is the #1 seller on STEAM (at least it was a few hours ago)
years probably, I rarely see people getting taunts and Brutal Legend is the #1 seller on STEAM (at least it was a few hours ago)
Now if i just had money.
Now if i just had money.
I assume the taunt will be around $7-8 on the STEAM Market when its finally tradeable. I've already made $6 on the market by buying low and selling high. It's not impossible but just a matter of luck to find a good deal.
