Imagine if they did a tiering system where the promos were weapons with unique stats and it had a chance of not being unlocked. Valve, please never do this.

Modeling for a cosmetic that has a chance of not even being released is one thing, but modeling AND testing is another

Does anyone know how much does it could cost do "commission" someone for a TF2 hat/item model to be made for a game, like Sleeping Dogs or an indie game? I don't know how that works exactly. And I assume the $30 would include the full game considering the full game on consoles is $15. Also remember that all of Lab Zero's employees were fired from Reverge Labs and haven't even been paid yet, which is why they need funding so bad.

If any other really well known person in the game industry like say Will Wright or Shigeru Miyamoto played TF2 and were given their own unique hat it wouldn't bother me either.
