by a "thing" you mean grossly restricting the use of any item that uses both?
I'll grossly restrict you.
if this was Dota they'd be unrestricted, vintage and never obtainable again because of community pressure. It's interesting the different attitudes towards items and community intervention between the two games. One folds at any little murmur of displeasure and the other is rock solid in all decisions, no exceptions. Neither quite has the proper method down, I'd say. Restrictions is one such thing I wish they'd cave on because they're pretty stupid in the scheme of things. Maybe in 2009 it was a good thing to do, but in 2013, it's just pointless.
It's almost as if nobody's perfect.
MvM would be great if games were shorter and could be played with less than 6 people. It's not that I don't want to play it it's just that can never seem to have 5 companions on at once and I don't feel like failing over and over again on wave 2 because some random who refuses to cooperate or display any competency. I think making bot's health scale or designing some missions for 4 players would be interesting. I would honestly be curious to see how a 2 player MvM mode could work, it would provide some really interesting moments.

Valve folds at the slightest hint of discontent when it comes to crybabies on SPUF complaining about weapons.

Regarding halloween 2nd will always be the best update they did. [ personal opinion ] there wasn't such a cosmetic heavy focus/community outroar and the main focus was just having fun and ofcourse it was bad-ass the first time you saw this guy spawn Wonder who voiced him.
probably some programmer. His lines are so filtered they could have done it with a built in computer mic and make it work fine.

What made the HHH better than the others bosses simply is the fact that he wouldn't disappear after some time. That and he didn't stay on specific parts of the map only. Merasmus and Monoculus always stayed near the Control Point, the HHH ran across the whole map, killing everything that stood in his way. He actually encouraged teamplay.

also the game went on, even when he spawned, so you could use him as a distraction to push the point, or he could help defend. Locking the point when the boss is active is probably the worst addition to TF2 Halloween. Last year was fun, but things get real hectic when you can still cap points with a boss around.
I'd really like to see an mvm variation of the mann manor map, with zombie hordes instead of robots, and the hhh, merasmus, and monoculus having appearances as bosses in a few waves, not fleeing but actually having to be killed in order to properley defend. with the final wave being a new boss like the mann brothers or maybe an upgraded version of the hhh that can fly and throw exploding pumpkins.

I still find it hilarious that the only class that didn't get new lines was the one that was played the most.
Oh shit i just remembered jarate being team neutral when detonating pumpkin bombs in effect you could kill your own team-mates even better event.

I loved it.
I came up with how to fix the short circuit: -10 metal pershot Can crit (why does it have no random crits anyway? It'd only do like 10 damage) On crit stuns enemies Good idea?
Arena is a curious game mode it has a billion official maps, but it's not in quickplay and there's no official Valve arena servers. Just weird. Like it's totally forgotten, but at the same time it has a ton of maps.
I always thought Arena was really poorly executed, what with everyone getting exactly one life and having to wait around for five billion years while the last CnD spy hides and nobody caps the point because it's "impolite" or "noobish." Even though, you know, that's the whole goddamned reason the point is there. I'd rather TF2 have a TDM mode where everyone respawns and both teams just work towards fifty kills.

I mean come on, Arena is, more or less, a gamemode to see who's better. You take down that one enemy to 1/4 of his health, only for him to kill you with a crit. Admitted, that's something the server operators had to take care of, but Valve should've delievered a "basic" arena-config, which disables randomcrits.
Everyone is voiced by Nolan North.
Pretty sure I'm not the only one who keeps seeing his name as Dolan North. Nolan is the demo's VA right?
in TF2 he only voices Merasmus and the Bombinomicon
Pretty sure I'm not the only one who keeps seeing his name as Dolan North. Nolan is the demo's VA right?
No, North only voices extra characters added after the game's initial release - Merasmus, The Bombinomicon, etc. Damnit Ned
Didn't the HHH use the Demo's deeper voice alike Monocolus though?
if it did, it's nearly indistinguishable.
No, nevermind, it's just mono that used the Demo's voices (deepened).
I want Tim and Eric items
