The Classic Update. Has a nice ring to it, I'll say that.
Maybe those are the promos for the NECA figures.

There is a Flamethrower in there...
you are looking at this the wrong way
they used those old TFC models as placeholders from back when they had nothing else made.
Maybe its a new indoors mvm map through a mann co museum. Yes I know this ideas been posted but here me out: Maybe thats the upgrade station and in that update they also add the classic weapons. Just a thought.

Why are you being such a buzz kill?
Also thats debunked by the facted that they have a fully modeled shotgun. And I assume based on this:

that they were far enough along in dev that they would atleast have model'd each weapon.
It just looks like part of the 15 minute movie to me.
They all look like props for the video, instead of remotely functional items for the game.
Almost looks like it could be a video that includes or explains more of the lore, going back to TFC and even further back, and up to modern TF2 time, explaining the history of the fight and the histories of the classes and so on.
I'm imagining it to be like one of those old Disney educational cartoons, but it almost definitely won't be like that at all.
The only problem with this theory is the video would satisfy the curiosity of the bigger fans who are into the lore, but the average viewer isn't going to get any of the references or really care. Maybe if it was just a brief glimpse at these things in the TF Industries headquarters or somewhere similar it would work.
Hello there, new guy here. Has anyone found the train station under Mannworks yet? I did while derping around, so just checking to see if this isn't old news.
Welcome to Facepunch.
This is news to me, at least.

Same here. I need to check it out once I get home.
Thanks you guys (or gals) there's tons of weird stuff on the MvM maps. Empty cube room under, two empty mine shafts with tank tracks under Coal Town etc.
These aren't new movie props or mvm props or actual weapons. probably from a scrapped spytech map in badlands.
i don't get why they didn't put these in props_spytech folder anyway.
tis som weird shit i gotta mail sfm

Sounds like something that should be on the Midnight Channel.
Morning Off-Topic:
This is how i play TF2 when i'm semi-drunk only 10x less adorable.

I'll be honest, these weapon models really aren't that great. A good texture goes a long way, but they still seem really bland. Maybe I'm just spoiled by all the wonders on the workshop.....

Most likely.
What's with Toywiz charging $75 for the two pack Pyro/Demo now?
When I preordered the 2-pack it only cost $48 with shipping. Glad I pre-ordered early as the current price is pretty much highway robbery.

Do people really think that those are future weapons? They're obviously props, ingame weapons have 10 more polys than those, and a texture size at least 3 times bigger.
they also seem ancient not new, like from a lower poly older version of TF2, not future weapons for a future update
Considering one of them is just a TFC flamethrower...

I dont believe they'll be added, I just noticed that some people actually seemed to want them to be added. Not only that, I was pointing out that they're boring looking, even for props. Id love to see a whole wall of "honorable mentions" from the workshop mounted on the wall of a Mann co factory in MVM. Maybe remove small details if they cause performance issues (rendering a large wall of very detailed models). But this stuff just kinda "meh" grade.
A few pages back someone said they were high poly and so they had to be new.
Get your shit together people.

Nope I've seen those and the cubes before at least the Halloween update

Well, the laser (let's call it the deplanetizer) and that Spytech car looks quite elaborated.
Maybe it's another mvm map? It could take place in a Mann co. spytech museum. Kinda like how there is a little museum in the coal mine map spawn room.
Figures arrived
they're stiff as fuck. to the point that rotating the feet makes this nerve-wreacking clicking noise
