NECA shouldn't of advertised that the figures came with an in-game item. It would either create hype or disappointment based on how great the item was. They should of just put the code in there sans advertisement so people who bought the figure for the figure would be pleasantly surprised and if the item was crap, They wouldn't have been disappointed as they did not expect anything in the first place.

While I'm a bit disappointed, Valve didn't misrepresent anything. I bought first because I wanted the figure and second because I thought that there was a chance that the item might be cool; but I bought knowing that it might not be. I don't think that Valve has done anything wrong, though they could have done better.
