They're only gaining new customers by adding it to steam/pc. God I hope there's halo 3 promos.

Either way, as someone who doesn't own an xbox and doesn't know game-support specifics, I know I'd be much less interested in the console if I felt their main exclusives had a chance of ending up on Steam.

They were pretty deep in development when they did it so you can pick up Halo CE for mac pretty much anywhere.

They're preparing "launch" titles to go with the Piston's official announcement probably

eh, Halo 3 has a community hub already, and a number of those games can be tracked down to having icons and info on the server. Just weird. Halo 2 multiplayer is offline. Unless they plan on a re-made version where online is dedicated servers, it's just weird. Also Halo 3 never had a PC port, this would be a new port of an oldish game, which doesn't really happen that often. MS did put out a call for PC game porters a few months ago though, which adds credit to this. Stuff like Saints Row IV and Quantum Conundrum 2 are a little ways off. Like years away. Having them is kind of odd, but not unheard of. The fact that QC got a sequel is honestly more surprising. Many of the listed are also confirmed for PC release (like Fez and Octodad). Others already have PC/Mac releases (like Angry Birds and Halo) so the Steam version would just be easy re-releases. Overall... I don't really know what to think. I don't think Valve would fake registries, but that's an awful lot of out of left field games. Nearly every item on the list (besides the games from Greenlight) are a total surprise. TF2 wise, many of those games will probably get promos. Saints Row and QC2 come to mind. The promos for QC1 were incredibly successful.
