The server ended up having 200 PING for both of us and we were kicked for "High Ping." Also, after you enable matchmaking beta, you can't stop it without restarting TF2.

Hey guys, I tried installing Ubuntu on a virtual box for the upcoming promo, but when I try to open the Steam Installer.Deb, it just takes me to the Software Center, and doesn't even give an option to install it. Any help? Also, it's as slow as sin. EDIT: Nevermind, just tried hitting "install" while the Software Center was open, it worked. But seriously, I get like less than 5 fps just running Ubuntu, I don't think I'll be able to even open Tf2.

Couple of pages late but the testinglol thing is a real bummer. Over the course of a year he grew from a childish homophobe to a really nice guy. Or maybe he just learned to hide it better. Either way I'll genuinly miss him. Also: My grandma just rang for me to track down the [i]march of the penguins[/i] movie. She's clearly in on this.

The new thread title should be "The tf2 section finally learns why everyone hates MaxOfSTD." Also only about a month or two ago the rule was "you can request one ban then any subsequent requested bans are permas." So either A: he lied about it being a real permaban, he's only using it to proxy for a two day ban. B: Testinglol had a preceding requested ban. C: Max is and always will be the worst. Anyways: do we actually have any evidence that gray mann owns gray gravel co? He hates gravel after all...

[/QUOTE] Aside from this, which is unimportant really, tell me, why is Max "the worst"? It just seems to me like you just pick any little mistake you guys think he makes to call him that, without excuse. The mods shouldn't be taking care of who knows the rules and who doesn't, they all assume everyone read them, and it's the right thing to do. Like Max said, mods are not babysitters.
