Is it also not moderation team's job to give them a chance, and just ban them, while acting all friendly about it? Is it the moderation team's job to be deceitful and act like they are fufilling his wish of a 2 day ban, then turning around and permabanning him? then removing him before he has a chance to ask about it? No it really isn't. This could have been handled so much better.

well obviously Dota 2 will get items (and lots of them), they have been every week now for months. Wait for the new compiler to be ironed out, and we'll be seeing similar things. It just takes too long right now to implement items.

Well, I believe there hasnt been a major update in a few months. So It's entirely possible.

Instead of waiting for new items, we should wait for the item compiller then, but, how long are we gonna wait? =(

Now I don't know anything about DOTA, but I recently found out the Kunkka class only has two hats. Are there just a lot miscs/classes? Because I was under the impression DOTA was getting a dickload of hats and we weren't, but... two? Pft. PSH.

90+ characters and 5+ slots per character means you're not getting a lot of variety per slot, but a lot of variety in items in general. The biggest variety in Dota 2 is weapons, most heroes with cosmetic items have at least 2 choices for weapons (some have dozens), while for boots or bracers you might only have one option or none at all (even if the hero supports such a slot) Compare to TF2 with 9 characters at 3 slots each, and the variety per slot is far higher, but you're limited in what can be made.

For this one, everyone is getting ready, so if there's a promo, almost everyone is going to get it, and it's gonna be worth nothing.

maybe the Linux update will be considered a major update, with some actual stuff. The Mac update kind of was. It had a video, a comic and some minor game stuff, but for non-mac people it wasn't really that big. Hopefully the Linux one is pretty beefy
