Well sort of. I don't own a Counterfeit Billycock ingame, so I looked at the one in Mann Co. Store. It shows up but it's incredibly faint
try itemtest
-snip-
I remember hearing something about a custom MvM population file that was going to make the robots wear the hats from this update. I had an idea. Instead of simply making the robots wear the hats and miscs, maybe the items could give the robot special abilities? For instance, here's one example I thought of: All Seeing Peyero Weapon: Flare Gun that reloads much faster than normal Hats/Miscs: Sight for Sore Eyes Special Abilities: Has unlimited sight range, stays towards the back of the group and snipes players with a flare gun. Could possibly be a support robot. Again, it's just an idea of mine, I was going to post it earlier but it was close to the "deadline" so I thought I probably wasn't going to make it.

I just had this stupid idea of the "Lollicog": (work in progress of course, alternative name: robotic sunflower)
A few unique robot weapons could be cool.
So here's my last 1 1/2 hours: [T]http://puu.sh/25dvP[/T] The front should be rigged to the toe bone. Also it's up for grabs, obviously.
im not really sure why they didnt give the robots mechanized weapons in the first place imo as long as they fit the silhouettes of their counterparts i dont see the big deal
I would like some Robotized Rockets and Bombs for the Soliders and Demomen
I would like some Robotized Rockets and Bombs for the Soliders and Demomen
I'm against robots weapons (for the most part) because they all ruin readability, even if the weapon becomes available to the player him/herself, I would still think so.
I would like some Robotized Rockets and Bombs for the Soliders and Demomen
Mini-sentry buster heads for the sticky bomb Maybe a modified MvM Bomb for the rocket
im not really sure why they didnt give the robots mechanized weapons in the first place imo as long as they fit the silhouettes of their counterparts i dont see the big deal
I thought maybe someone could make a deflector as a weapon.
;39648045']I thought maybe someone could make a deflector as a weapon.
If you mean a model, I don't see how that would work. It would be cool, but hard to pull off If you mean a REAL in-game weapon, someone tried to, on SPUF Instead of re-using the code from the actual weapon, he just created his own code for it from scratch and bragged about it. He said he would put it on the Workshop with a reskinned Minigun for Valve to "consider and give me credit". We called him a bunch of names, mostly about how idiotic he was, he said we had no respect for "his idea" and called us all "noobs with no hats"
Hell-met did an in game deflector (and I'm going to assume that's not who you're taking about) [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] But I'm pretty sure he means a unique model for the deflector as a mod

Basic color block in: Whoever that was with the idea to use filmstrips, that works a LOT better than the iron plates I was doing before.

I mean they're already metal pipes, how could I possibly robo-tize it

"Camera .BRD"
About .brd extension: CAD file created by EAGLE, an application used for schematic capture and PCB design; created with the EAGLE Layout Editor and used for developing design templates for circuitry; can be saved in the Gerber drill data format, which may be used by CAM (computer aided manufacturing) programs.

I should do it considering I already did the Idiot Box EDIT: How the hell am I going to do the Steel Pipes? I mean they're already metal pipes, how could I possibly robo-tize it
Make the Steeler Pipes, a couple of rigid, metal pipes with a joint in the middle and painted to ressemble somehow the Steel Pipes.
I should do it considering I already did the Idiot Box EDIT: How the hell am I going to do the Steel Pipes? I mean they're already metal pipes, how could I possibly robo-tize it
I doubt the pipes could be done. Best thing you could do is make a style that fits the Robo-soldier, if they don't already. I did take a lot of inspiration from your RAMless Repository, so it would be awesome if you made this!
given how the soldier uses the idiot box to infiltrate the robot HQ, it would had been more funny to see the Robo soldiers wearing a poorly done human disguise, with the steel pipes painted with a skin tone and the shoes being simply the top of a pair of boots/shoes jolted to their feet. the head should just be a regular cardbox with a face poorly painted on it.
I'm against robots weapons (for the most part) because they all ruin readability, even if the weapon becomes available to the player him/herself, I would still think so.
I believe it's all in the execution. If the shapes, proportions and colours remain in the same areas as they do the regular counterparts, then readability won't be affected to a severe degree than any promotional reskins would, with their radically different silhouettes and colours.
This update is going to be both electrifying and riveting!
[t]http://www.toptiertactics.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/Machina.png[/t] we already have robotic weapons and they do not ruin the readbility in the slightest way. at least not as much as simply hanging a huge robot head out of a stock weapon and put a broken jigglebone on it. that was me. gib 0.5% credit pls by the way, may i sugest a name? "Camera .BRD"
No he means because they're reskins, reskins in general are bad for readability, and no keeping the silhouette does not eliminate this, color is also important Also names you have to explain aren't really that great, no offense
Also names you have to explain aren't really that great, no offense
Yep, I agree, because name puns are puns, puns are jokes and, well, we all know how that goes... [t]http://makemelaugh.com/pics/Even-The-Joker-Hates-Jokes-That-You-Have-To-Explain.jpg[/t]
No he means because they're reskins, reskins in general are bad for readability, and no keeping the silhouette does not eliminate this, color is also important
Would weapons such as the Three-Rune Blade and the Postal Pummeler count?
Yes those are also bad

Put clips from Meet the Spy in the film strips.
