I believe in Neo to make it look even better in 3D.
These were originally only quick sketches, I ended up painting them to get a better idea for textures.
Have you ever thought about being a colourist for comics and illustrations?

I guess I'd like to attempt it once, but I don't trust myself with any sort of job that involves shading.
I'm pretty sure I'm crap at it.
It's an interesting situation to be in.
also been practicing my shading:

Oh! That's the grimme, not a dividing line.
I thought about this crazy idea for the comic: The evil Dr. Gray is tired of Bonk Boy's heroic doings, so, in order to destroyhim once and for all, he creates a robot with the same abilities that Bonk Boy possesses, and many more, named Bonk Boy, who is programmed to locate and retrieve, along with Gray's hatted minions, the 7 chaos Bonk Cans, to power up the hat cannon in Dr. Gray's Robot Egg, and it's up to Bonk Boy to stop him!
Then I went back a few pages and read the real plot of the comic.

I thought it was some kind of Robot Payload on a track
Oh thanks, i just made one so far but ill work on more then.
Just enlighten me, do the robo bowmen (I'm not going to call them what I actually call them...) actually have a robot quiver on their backs, or not?

No, they don't. They reload their bows by ejecting an arrow out of their forearm, out of their wrist.

Hnng, them low opacity brush strokes.
They really stand out and don't make much sense, it should all be 1 solid color.

Didn't know if anyone had done the Hard Counter, so I thought I'd try. Textures are still wip.

Could you try making it lower on the heavy's head? It looks more like it's floating over the heavy than attached to him.
so i'm makin an item thats not based on an existing one.

i'll have the ends painted at the end to look like eyes.
also, if anyone has any really simple robo concepts, i could probably do one.
Besides the normal agenda, what are the plans for this?
I had an idea earlier that if at all possible it'd be cool if someone made it so that the Source Mod "Be The Robot" replaced their respective robo counterparts the same way the players are. But you know I'm retarded and that might take a long time for a server download
Alright, so, don't send any more hats after the 24th February (Sunday). Deadline needs to close. Site will be updated to reflect this.

I'd better finish up my botter's helm then. Where's the template for the workshop icon (although it's a reskin so should it be workshopped?)
been done already. though that seems like a more fitting concept.

Lightbulbs probably are more fitting than tiny robot skulls.
Due my incredebly noobyness in everything i demand to know if the bodygrouped robots will come to gmod!
did anyone ever start on this?

yep, but they won't be coming to SFM:

I think I know why this happens, but I definitely don't know how to fix it.
Actually they do work, just not very well if you load up an old scene (one you posed using Valve's bodygroup-less robots). However that too can be fixed if you lock the bones, according to Populus.
so I felt that sniper is lacking in the mechanical hat department, so I felt like a challenge and had a go at making the robo-liquidator's lid.

I believe I've figured out why the import tool sometimes gives the "ERROR" model when trying to import items-- when typing out the item's name in the text box, the total number of characters must be 18 or under; if you go over 18, the ERROR model will show up rather than prompting you that you've gone over the character limit.
I'm sorry if I happen to be late on this, just been trying to figure out this problem for weeks

Don't forget sfm!
[editline]22nd February 2013[/editline]
Here's my concepts. I felt like soldier needed more stuff. So i made him a phew hats and even weapons! But i also did some things for the other classes:

I may not have the best drawing skill ever, but hey. A concept is a concept!
Perhaps we do need more Rayman 2 references

That's awesome. I would wanted bodygrouped robots and more robot versioned hats in gmod. I rly look forward to that!
