They were being merciful during the idlecaust. They said they could do worse. Hell, this might take all your unlocks and disable the drop system permanently for you. OR they could vac ban you/delete your account.
Fuck you, man. I'm worried now.
Well, I verified my e-mail a long time ago. I also changed my password after I got the earbuds, so no, I don't think anyone will get their hands on my account.
Sure looks like alot of people are waiting for their earbuds :3
I don't mean that. You guys submit your Steam account information to the internet. It's just a matter of time someone can't log into their account anymore.
If the account is email verified, i highly doubt it someone will be able to steal it. And besides, every single person till now, gave me a password which was temporary. Anyway, i'm still open for requests.

Let's hope you're right.

Better make sure that google site of yours stays safe and to one or two editors. Because if someone got hold of the full list of accounts and passwords you'd be in deep, deep shit if someone forgot to validate their email or change their password.
Could you link me to the rule which doesn't allow this?
http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/ At least i think so, i can't see the rule so far. Although im still reading.
http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/ At least i think so, i can't see the rule so far. Although im still reading.
no i think it is here. http://store.steampowered.com/online_conduct/ Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying Steam services, software or other content.
no i think it is here. Is me logging on to my friends mac against the rules?
If the account is email verified, i highly doubt it someone will be able to steal it. And besides, every single person till now, gave me a password which was temporary. Hm, this just got serious, I'm actually considering deleting them...But I love the trail of notes they emit...What do I do? :ohdear:
Is me logging on to my friends mac against the rules?
There are no 'rules'. And no if there were.
Is me logging on to my friends mac against the rules?
Log onto friend's mac. Start up tf2. lay for a little bit. Suicide. Recieve hat. Gtf-off his mac. Log on on PC. Enjoy.
Redeeming Fraudulent Gifts Never accept a gift from an unknown user. Any accounts tied to a redeemed gift from a fraudulent source may be disabled.
This seems to be the only rule that only slightly applies to this. However this may be trouble.
Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses.
Hey valve! i bought a mac just for the earbuds! hahah yeah
This seems to be the only rule that only slightly applies to this.
Nah, it means gifts as in gifted games.
Hopefully, if Valve does go through with wiping something from us. I hope its not huge, since this is merely a very common hat, rather than 20 hats (back when idling) and they might do something like wipe all pc users earbuds after the event finishes. Like seeing which users earned ghastly gibus and other event items, which mac players could of never gotten.
Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses.
I'm thinking when Valve hears about that site of yours that collects Steam names / passwords to invite people on a Mac to give you earbuds they're going to flip out. Big time.
Is me logging on to my friends mac against the rules?
Valve never said you could not go to a friends house and play on your own account on his steam download if that makes any reassurance.
What matters is the IP. But anyway, my IP changes every single day.
My ip changed 3 times yesterday .
Did the form, but I reckon there's a hell of a backlog...
Just pm me. You'll be done in like 5 min.
What matters is the IP. But anyway, my IP changes every single day.
Cool fact. Ip, no matter the change, still points to the same physical location. As long as no one used your IP at the same time, it would point valve to your location.

Thanks SlashSpeed I can confirm that you can trust him: And i never used a mac. lol Once again, thanks SlashSpeed.
Cool fact. Ip, no matter the change, still points to the same physical location. As long as no one used your IP at the same time, it would point valve to your location.
Steam doesn't track IPs beyond servers.
Did the form, but I reckon there's a hell of a backlog...
There is. The Form number. :v:
