Working with demos has reduced me to the broken, sobbing shell of the man I used to be.
Whenever I wanted a fixed camera POV, I would use Demo Smoothing. It was tedious, ill-documented and prone to failure. But I kept using it, time and time again, it was good enough for me, because I had it memorized, and because after a long while of searching I was convinced there WASN'T an easier way.
Eventually, though, after months of doing things the tedious way, I found out there WAS, after all, an easier way. I could achieve the same results much, much more easily and hassle-free by just using Drive Camera.
Let me tell you how I felt the day I realized this.
I felt like a man who had been shitting while standing up his entire life. When, one day, he realized he could just sit down to shit. He wanted to be happy for his discovery, but he could only be bitter for all the times he shat while standing up for nothing.
But as soon as he had to wipe, he realized it didn't really matter, because then he found out his entire life he had been shitting his pants anyways.
I wish I could tell you I am not this man. I wish so very hard I could tell you I don't shit my pants every day, and dear sweet holy mother of our lord, I wish I could tell you it didn't happen twice while typing this very message.

I felt the exact same way when I found out you could copy and paste particles from one file to another. Before I found that out, I had been writing down all of the numbers needed for the initial particle, and then tediously punching them all back in in the other file for it to function.

That was a pretty entertaining video. Only thing I have to complain about is how some of the chats can be blocked by the youtube video bar.

Seems like the frame-rate is kinda messed up. Also, assuming you use vegas, right click on your video in the timeline and disable re-sampling. It what causes those semi-transparent ghost frames.
