what sort of peeved me about this part of the story is that they implied a sex changed person can have babies "genetic material"
overall it was just plain creepy
I don't think they were trying to imply that at all. I think they were just restating the fact that the announcer had the ability to warp (or at least warp the perceptions of) reality.
